Childrens car seats

Hi,

We're from the UK and I was wondering what the law is regarding childrens car seats in Florida. Our child is a tall 3 year old and she has stopped using a 'baby seat' and has moved on to a 'booster seat'.

I have seen somewhere that the law states that children 5 and under must have a child seat but does this mean either a baby or booster seat or does it refer specifically to a baby seat?

I think many states use the term Car Seat to include booster.
