Childrens AP and discounts

In looking at the annual pass rates vs. the 10 day MYW passes I'm thinking that I may get the kids the annual passes and just get DH and I the 10 day MYW passes with no expiration and park hopping option. My question is can you use a child's AP for a room discount, free parking, and other discounts?

BTW, we are planning 2 trips - one in December 2005 and one in October or December 2006. I doubt that we will spend more than 10 days in the park between the 2 trips.
