From a previous post someone said they ordered a "Whale of a Pail"
for their DS from the WDW florist.
What doe it have in it ?

What other items does the WDW Florist offer for children ?

My DD will turn 7 while we are at WDW. I will order her flowers
from the WDW Florist and ...maybe something else.
My DS who will be 10, will want something too.

So - what have DIS'ers gotten lately from the WDW Florist for their
children ?

:) Thanks for the suggestion to have the WDW Florist deliver to your resort
on day two and not on day of arrival. :)

I hope I am correct on this so maybe someone can clarify if I am wrong. I just called the disney florist (407-827-3505)and they faxed me a price and description list. The pail is called an add on special. Called Disney Kids Add a Snack for $20.00. It comes in a pail with a shovel and has something like a coloring book (this is where I need clafication for the coloring book), then some snacks like pretzels and chips and candy.

They also have tote bags (2 types of items)

1) called Disney Family Treats for $50.00, includes canvas tote bag with an assortment of fruits, chips, pretzels cheese, crackers, and disney logo cookies and candy.

2) called Mickey Terrific Tote Bag for $25.00. Same canvas tote bag as above but the items in the tote are 2 cans of soda, 2 bottles of water, 2 pieces of fruit and an assortment of disney logo snacks.

They also have a basket called Basket of Disney Cheer for $37.50.
Presented in a Mickey Mouse shaped basket with whole fruit, cheese, crackers and gourment mint choc cookies.

You can add things on to the baskets or in them like mylar ballongs ($3.50), Disney beanie (character) bags ($11.00) etc.

I hope this helped.

I just had a Whale of a Pail sent to my son. From the list I have the Whale of a Pail was listed with the gift baskets, not as an add-on. I assume you can add parts of it to other gifts. I had a mickey balloon added to our pail. The Whale of a Pail is a Big pail with a large Mickey Shovel, a sailor's hat, sunglasses, 3 small hand held games (a mini pin ball game, and one where you have to get the ball in the hole, I don't remember the other), a couple of bags of chips, mickey pretzels, a box of character cookies, 2 small bottles of water, I think there were some stickers.

One tip, if you plan to bring the pail home, it takes up a lot of room, so be prepared.

Don't know if it's the same, but I just got the Late Spring issue of the Disney Catalog and there is a product called Whale of a Pail in there.

Can I find the WDW florist on line somewhere I would really like to find out what they carry and order something but our time of arrival is coming soon! HELP!

They also have a basket called 'pretty in pink' with princess things in it like a plate, cup and other stuff. it runs 42.00.
There is another one called 'Pooh and friends' and has beanies and a little lunch box (I think) and runs 60.00.
I called WDW florist and they gave me this info because we are having a couple baskets made for our kids upon arrival at WDW. They don't have a web site so call them and they will let you know all they have. They had quite a selection. The two I just mentioned are the two I plan on getting for my little ones but they do have other stuff too! I am not positive but I asked about the whale of a pail and think that was 35.00 but don't quote me on this. You can also add on balloons or mickey ears or just have them make one up special.
The WDW florist #407-827-3505.
Hope this helps!!!!!!!

I paid $40.81 for the Whale of a Pail and that was with a mylar Mickey balloon added. I don't think that included delivery. I had ordered 2 gift baskets and I think they applied the delivery charge to other one. We have been home a little over a week and my DS is still playing with the little games he got in his pail.
