Just some backround - I'm not being married at Disney - although we are bringing bits of Disney into our wedding and I'm staring my honeymoon in the happiest place on earth.

I'm inviting approx. 20 children under age 12 to our wedding. I'd like to make it a fun time for them. Any ideas? I don't think I can have them at a kids table - because some of them are too little to be away from their parents.

Maybe make up little goodie bags for the really little ones. Coloring books, crayons, some fun things to do. I have 6 kids that are all above 8 and I have a kids table with lots of things to do. Puting special kid friendly favors might be fun too. I am giving the kids Disney Pez containers.

At my brothers wedding this past year my mom and I made these really cool centerpieces with different types of candy sticking out of it (mainly suckers,) and that was sitting on a vase with a fish swimming around in it. We covered the table with butcher paper and had crayons, different card games, and legos on the table so they were occupied. Their favors were Disney playing cards, and candy from the centerpiece. For the kids who weren't old enough to be away from their parents (mainly just babies) we had these really cute plastic pooh bear figures and books for their spot at the table. I think both the pooh figure and the book cost maybe $2 together. I think it's really nice to have something fun for the kids since they probably aren't big fans of going to weddings and sitting around talking (I know I wasn't when I was that age!)

That is awesome! What great ideas! I know that if you are willing to spend the money, different resorts have childcare centers. We were considering The Neverland Club at the Polynesian because of its proximity and the site looks like the Darling Nursery from Peter Pan, even the window can be climbed through, plus it feeds them! If you have teenagers, like we do, we considered setting up game systems in their rooms and sending them pizza. But there are great ways to keep them entertained at the party too. If you want to spend some money, there are contractors that can come to have a seperate party for them.
