I have a 7p ADR at Narcoossee's for my SiL's birthday dinner---5 adults and 1 child (1 1/2 yr old DGD).

I made the ADR because all the men in the group were excited about a lobster birthday dinner.

Now I'm having second thoughts about taking DGD. She does well eating out, eats anything she can get her hands on and is very social. BUT, is Narcoossee's to "fancy" for a child as young as she is? Do they have high chairs?

Her mom and dad would not leave her with a babysitter so that is not an option. Guess I assumed that at disney children could go anywhere.

I would not want to spoil anyone else's evening, so if bringing her would be unacceptable, I will just pick another restaurant.

Advise please !!!

I think you'll be fine. Narcoossee's never seems fancy to me and I always see kids there. For some reason Narcoossee's always seems a little on the louder side to me; louder than Citrico's but not as loud as California Grill. Have fun!

It is fine as long as the parents know how to act in a fine restaurant. Not allow child to run around disturbing other diners and if the child starts screaming one of them will take the child outside, again to not disturb the other diners.

Yes, they have high chairs. There will be plenty of children in the restaurant. And it really is not "fancy" at all. It's just a very slightly upscale casual restaurant.
There are only 1-2 restaurants at Disney that are true fine dining, that would be inappropriate for kids. But like the overwhelming majority of restaurants on property, Narcoose's caters to families.

She should be fine, as she will be in a high chair and not able to get up and run around. I worry more about "Grandpa". When she gets a little "antsy" he tends to get her out of her high chair and walks around with her.:lmao:

I agree with everyone here. My DD is now gonna be 5 and i have been taking her to Narcoosee's since she was 3 there are plenty of well behaved children there never had an issue

She should be fine. Many kids eat there. There is a deck outside to walk if needed. Don't know what time you are going, but you can see the fireworks from there too. Always a big hit with the kids (and me).:goodvibes

(and I almost never post responses like this one)

Narcoossee's really isn't that fancy. You can take kids to any Disney restaurant except Victoria & Albert's and be ok.

If that happens, just suggest to Grandpa that they walk outside the restaurant. There's a nice little walkway around Narcoossee's that will keep both of them interested.
