Children and finger scans when entering parks.

My DH is a CM and we have main gate passes, so we have been scanning the kids fingers for 3 years. It has been quite the pain with my DS, who is now 6, who wants to scan it himself, but needs my help and then fights me about it, as others are trying to push by us to get into the park. Hoping by next year he will have matured enough to have this be less of a problem...

They had DD5 scan her finger every day of our trip last December. I thought that was just the way it is.

My DD has always scanned her finger, since she was 2 1/2 (she's 13 now). It was never an issue. She always used her pointer finger on her right hand, easy to remember.

My son is two and obviously he didn't get a park ticket but he did get a magic band, will he still have to scan his finger? He's not going to like it...

I have a two year old also and no finger scan any of the times. If they don't have a ticket they shouldn't ask them to scan a finger. Under three does not need a ticket so you should be fine. My two year old did get a magic band and it always turned blue. i think the only thing the band did was open the door to our room!!!
