Children and after school activities

Wow! We are all such busy parents. Here goes then;

Monday DD9 Brownies
Tuesday DS11 Football training DD Book club
Wednesday Me Sculpture class Kids go to childminder 8-9pm DS and DD Karate
Thursday 7.45 a.m. DD Netball practice
Friday DS 11+ tuition & Scouts

Both kids do music lessons in school time and have recently cut back from two sessions of Karate to one per week (thank goodness) The difficulty is fitting in friends which is so important. DS manages to do his homework in about ten minutes and DD can usually do it in half an hour.

Now we are under pressure to have sleepovers at the weekends but the kids don't sleep! I think its all worth it though because active children are more fulfilled. DH and I also make sure that we have a little time and cash for our own interests.
