Children Aged 10

They could stamp the hands of people who have paid in full only so they can go on the rides
Unfortunately, they would have to charge a lot more, though, to make up for the lost revenue from the folks who don't go on ride, plus extra to cover the cost of an extra CM to check hand-stamps at many (but not all) of the attractions.

But what I dont understand is 10 year olds being classed as "adults" for meals. My 9 year old will be 10 when we go back, and there is no way she could eat "adult" portions. Surely this isnt fair??!!!

In July, Disney's policy changed and 10 and 11 year olds were classed as adults - this was just before our trip. We have the same problem with a picky DD, but found that the servers still asked at TS restaurants if we wanted a kid's menu and were charged the price for a kid's meal. My DD is not small for her age so we didn't hide anything. At buffets, they asked her age and we were charged the adult price (although she ate very little) - luckily I had the DDE card to balance this a little.

Our favourite meal of the year before was FDP at Brown Derby but again with this one, we would have had to pay full price (and no DDE discount on this, as a 'package') so we gave this a miss - begrudge paying $40+ for DD when I knew she wouldn't eat anything on the adult menu.

Splitting our stay between Universal and Disney this time (she is still a kid at Universal restaurants), limiting buffets at Disney and avoiding FDP and we should do fine.
