Children activites starting at age 4

My daughter will be about 3 weeks shy of her 4th birthday on our trip to WDW and her older brother is 6. There are activities I think they would both enjoy but she is not officially 4 (cooking, pirates etc)

Do you think there is any chance Disney will let my daughter sign up for something that requires you to be 4 if she does it with her brother, given she is basically 3 weeks from that age?

Does Disney check ages when registering for these type of activities?

You can only call and ask.I know with alot of things they are pretty strict about the ages because of liability and their insurance carrier/regulations.But you won't know unless you call.

Yes, they do check (her age is on the reservation). Disney is really strict about ages. Just another great reason to plan a trip next year!!!

There is so much at Disneyworld to do, I don't know, is this their first trip?

We find there is so much to see and explore, that I'd save some of those extras for future trips myself.

When you are in the parks, take the time to really relax and enjoy. If you go gung ho, it can detract from the fun.

We've been so many times, and still not done everything.

Thanks to you both -- that does put it in perspective. This is my daughter's 2nd trip and my son's 4th (albeit 1 trip was just a quick stop over for a day). October will be our longest trip we have experienced at WDW -- I am very excited.

Apparently the way Disney has these activities licensed with the state of Florida, they can't take children younger than four. They are considered child care activities (since parents aren't there), and therefore need to be properly licensed.
