child turning 3

We will be spending 6days @WDW and on the 3rd day of our trip our DD will be turning 3. Do we buy her an entire lenght pass like we will be buying for ourselves.
Also, any suggestions on a little party at disney.

Her age at check in is considered her age for the entire trip - so she won't need a pass. Excellent timing! What a magical birthday she'll have!

That is a great birthday gift! We took my DS in May for his 4th birthday, and he had the best time. I bought a PH two years ago just so we'd have it. My mother bought him another pass for him in April. For some reason he hasn't had to use it yet. I know he will in May, but that was a gift for me in itself. The Poly had even put a birthday cake and balloons in the room. We got vouchers for the CB @ Chef Mickey's, and they gave him an autographed b-day card from Mickey and the gang. Make sure that you get the "It's my birthday pin". You can get it from City Hall in the Magic Kingdom. I think you can get it from the desk in your resort, too. He got such special treatment the entire day.

We just got back last week....and my daughter wont' be 3 until August 15th...but I believe your DD should be free! I certainly wouldn't want to pay for a full pass if I didn't need to!! My daughter so badly wanted to ride the BIG rides...she's too small for alot.
The character meals should be great for her...just mention that it's her b-day each place you go and they will do something nice for her
We also went to Chip & Dales singalong at Fort Wilderness, and they let all the birthday kids up while the crowd sings to them... kinda cute

toystorymom is correct.Disney goes by your child's age at CHECK IN!

When you check in at your resort make sure you tell them what day your DD birthday is.I'm sure there will be something special in your room when you get back that day!
