OIY! I am trying to buy tickets for our trip in Oct. and I was all set to buy 6 day NE passes 2 adult and 2 kids, but our kids are 6 & 7 and most likely will be 9 & 10 before we go back (they're almost 7 & 8), what happens then with my child pass, do I just have to pay the difference between child and adult then next time we use them? This rate increase has me all flustered!

Thanks!

Stacy

Usually Guest Services just changes them to the age-appropriate ticket for free. So no worries!

If not for free, you can pay the difference. It won't void the tickets. :thumbsup2

This is quoted from Cheshire Figment's post on the Theme Park Attractions Board:

Disney does not penalize children for growing older. If you have a partially used child's ticket, and the child is now 10 or older, you may exchange the child's ticket for an adult ticket with the same remaining entitlements and no charge.

The child for which this is being done must be present at the ticket window when this is being done. The age difference must be reasonable! For example, if the child appears to still be a pre-teen, and the ticket is two or more years old they should be no problem. However, if the child appears to be 16 and the ticket is only a year old this will not be done.

We have done done this for ds when he became an "adult" and it was no problem and no extra charge~!

Thanks so much everyone, I went ahead and bought the 2 & 2 last night for 6 days no expiration. We're looking forward to our halloween trip :).
