We file jointly also. If they go off DH (listed first on return), we are in 2nd group. If they use my SSAN, we are 3rd group. Either way, we should have $$ in time for WDW!!

But basically, it is a "pre-payment" of the increase in the child tax credit. Whereas it was previously $600 per child, it is going to $1000 per child, so those that qualify for the checks will be getting $400 per child.
We're in the 2nd group, but can't agree on where it should be spent. I always want every penny for upcoming vacation, but hubby wants to put it towards a pool!
