Child Swapping and a Diaper Bag

My husband and I will be visiting soon. just bought those AP's. We have a one year old. I know we can go through the queue together and one of us can wait in an area during child swap. My question is, what about the diaper bag? I know they require lockers for those who are going on ride. But since we are swapping, will they let us take the bag through the line?

Did this in 2016 with my 2 year old, we just said we were swapping and they allowed us in with the bag.
