Child swap?

HOw does this work? and how do normal lines and fast pass affect it?

We have a 4 and 2 year old. We used it this past trip so that one parent could stay with the younger child and both my wife and I could each ride the attraction with our older child. You essentially go to the entrance to the attraction and just tell them that you want to do a baby swap. If you are going to the regular line they will give you one fastpass. The first parent goes on the ride and waits in the regular line, then when the child is swapped the other parent takes the fastpass.

Just to mention the first parent can still use a regular fast pass or single rider line, you don't have to wait in standby line. They also want to see the child before giving out child switch tickets to avoid people abusing the system.

Igreat thanks. So if there's 4 adults and one child do they mind say doing two queue and two get fast passes?

The switch ticket they give you allows up to 3 people to ride so if 4 you could have 1 queue (standby, fast pass or single rider) and ride then the other 3 go through the fast pass line on the switch ticket.

I always think about passing on the love as it's only me and grabbing 2 people about to go in standby line so quicker for them.

Not sure as we haven't done Universal with DS yet. Busch is hit and miss. All rides seem different but generally one goes through ride and then at end or sometimes as you join the queue they give you a ticket and they write the time you can come back on it. The time is generally the time the current standby by line is. Some rides they didn't give ticket and just said wait at the exit line and switch then.

Anyone know if you can still child swap if kid is tall enough but not brave enough?
