First time visiting Universal in a month with my DH, DD8, and DD5.
My DD5 is not tall enough for some of the rides, if we use Child Swap how does it work?
If my DD8 and DH ride first, and me and DD5 waits, do I have to go ride on my own after the swap?
Or can I bring my DD8 again to ride together? (this is how WDW child swap works)

I tried to search the forum, but couldn't find it..........
Also we'll visit at the end of Oct, should I purchase Express Pass? Is crowd generally heavy around this time?

Thank you in advance!!

I personally think child swap is better at UO. Your whole family waits in line together, then right before the ride loading (it varies a little at each ride but it's usually right at the end of the line) is the child swap. You and little one go in and wait, when your husband and son exit their ride vehicle, they will divert over to child swap and you and son can walk right out to the loading area (or really close). So your son will get 2 rides with 1 wait basically.

Thank you so much for confirming, I wanted to make sure my DD8 can ride again with me.

And if you have a larger group? How many are allowed back on the ride?

I honestly don't know if there's a hard rule- I have observed them letting all the kids ride again. One family with 4 kids (3 ride age) let all 3 kids reride. I don't know if they'd let other adults or a Duggar size family all reride.

If all 3 kids could ride with 1 adult, that would be great. My concern here and at WDW is that only 2 of 3 (plus 1 adult) would be able to get on and the inevitable problems that would ensue!!

Are there 2 adults in the group? Someone will need to be supervising the non- riders.

Hi- just a tip I wish I would have had when we went a couple years ago. My son was 5. In a few of the lines there is theming and it can be scary for the kids. Unfortunately the child swap room is very far up in line so we had a scared crying 5yo and no universal employee in sight after getting through a lot of the line. So if you think your child will be scared of dark/loud noises try to talk to a team member before entering the line and they may let you into the child swap room right away while the rest of the party stands in line.
