So I have a child swap question. I am going to be traveling to Disney with my 2 sons (5, and almost 1), my DW, and my MIL and SIL in August. We have a question about the child swap process. Lets take test track for example. The last time we went my 3 year old at the time didn't have the best experience on TT. We are hoping we can convince him to go on it again (sit him in the middle) but I am preparing for him to put up a fight. Now my MIL is not a fan of the faster rides and prefers the slower rides. So technically we have a "sitter" to watch the kids while everyone else rides. Now the issue is my wife doesnt feel like its fair to stick her with both kids. Which I kind of agree with because she will have to rangle two kids and a stroller. So if I stayed back with my MIL while my DW and SIL go on the ride, could we use a child swap? Then allowing myself and my DW to go on. Yes I am aware of the single rider line but test track was the easiest example I had. No I am not trying to find a loop hole. If the answer is no then the answer is no.

Yes. You can divide up your group the way you are suggesting. It's not a loophole, it's fine.

Since you have the baby you can absolutely get a child swap pass. Not a loop hole or anything! And if you can convince him to ride he can even go the second time using the child swap pass :)

We used it exactly like you described. No problems, just make sure the smaller child is with you when you ask the first CM for the child swap pass.
