Just curious if they have a child swap at Universal like they do at Disney World? Or do they have something like it?

Yes the do, you can trade in your brat for a nice well behaved child at any of the attractions. Yes most of the major rides have a child swap area. MIB has a nice glass enclosed area that looks down on the loading area.

Well, we didn't trade in any of our children (hmmm, there's always next time)....but still had a good experience with child swap. Most of the rides have a room or nice size sitting area for the child swap. Make sure you ask about child swap before you get in line, because we found that you could sometimes go directly to the child swap area without waiting in line.

We found the child swap options at USO to be waaaay better at USO than at WDW. Most of the major rides at IOA had nice sitting areas. The most confused (mainly confused employees) was at dueling dragons. There was one area that I felt like cattle... I can't remember where.... I'm thinking hulk. The swap area was just too small. I will say this (IMHO)... FOTL is not needed if you are child swapping. We never had to use our room keys, because we were always shown to the child swap area. Well, we had one person in a wheelchair, and we had FOTL, and we were child swapping. It was a bit confusing. hehehehe I'm thinking I'd still like to be at the resorts because of needing to take a midday break.
