I feel for all of you dealing with the CS system. My oldest DS is now 22 so my problems have been gone for quite a few years now but I still remember how awful it was to deal with.
To make a long story very short-
Those of you who are owed balances should check into putting a lien of your ex's homes/properties, if they have them. I overheard someone discussing this in court one day and asked the CS worker about it. She explained and got all the paperwork in order and a lien was placed on his home within a few months. I figured someday at least it would get paid. Fast forward to 3 years later, I opened an envelope from CS and to my surprise in it was a check for the arrearage. I nearly fainted.
I don't know why in all the years that balance was accruing this was never mentioned to me and why I had to ask for this to occur. I know I NEVER would have recieved this $$ if the lien hadn't been placed on his home.
By the way I put in a driveway at my house with the money....So everyday I drive/walk all over that son of a *gun*!!!!!!LOL!!!!!

Good for you! As for me, my ex doesn't own diddly squat. He moved back in with his loony mommy several years ago (yup, 37 yo and moved back in with her). She supports his lazy ***. He only works part time so he doesn't have to go to jail for not paying support.
