Hi all,

What's the situation with having our 15 month old daughter on the bus from the airport? Is it a case of her simply sitting on our lap or do we need to bring a car seat?

:confused3

I assume you mean the shuttle buses? I work for a coach company in the uk and the current policy here is that if a child is old enough to sit alone then use the seat, if not then sit on adults lap. You can only use car seats with full 3 point seat belts and most coaches only have lap belts fitted - not safe to use with car seats. Unless you can find out which are fitted on a particular vehicle, and if the rules are different in France (which I doubt as its a safety thing rather than legal thing), then I would go with the uk regs.

I'd do a google search for further clarification.

Hi, I've only been on the VEA once but I am pretty sure it had full three point seat belts, not lap belts, if that is any help.

We went on the VEA when my son was 12months old and we stuck him on our lap.

I can't remember what the seatbelts are like.
