Guess we're all different. If someone called me and said, "my kids are asleep. Just sit on the porch for 4 hours and make sure they don't come out and I'll give ya $100" I'd jump all over that. If much prefer that to, "here are my three kids. Feed them, play with them, get them ready for bed and asleep by 7:30! Once they're down, sit at that tiny table with all of the lights off and don't wake them up!" To each their own.

Yes but you are a guy so under your assumptions no body will want you anywhere near their kids.

For some reason these threads always seem to go bad.

You are either comfortable with you child/children being babysat by a service or you are not.

If you are the service is called kids nite out. Which incidentally gets great reviews. If you are not then you may like to look into the kids clubs on site or save your evening out until you are home.

Here are a few reasons why it's a bad idea
1) safety of the sitter. If she's outside she is vulnerable to attack. Just the other day someone was attacked at art of animation. So anyone either a guest or not can come across her and decide hey why not.

2) your kids wake up and start to wander the room. Hey look here's a bathtub I want a bath. Or let's see what we can flush down the toilet or how high we can climb up the furniture. Each their own recipe for disaster and with a sitter out side the door she probably won't hear them until it's too late

3) your kids need help, maybe they get sick, maybe the hotel has a fire or something when they have to evacuate. Your kids would have no clue who this woman is or where you are.

4) the sitter needs to use the bathroom ( I'm assuming you would
Let her) and one of the kids wakes up to a stranger in their room.


Like I said as a young female i would have walked away from this job. My safety is worth more than anyone is willing to pay.
