Child care at Disneyland?

Hi everyone,

This may seem like an odd question to ask, but I've not been able to find anything on the topic (neither at disboards.com, nor anywhere else). My apologies if this has already been discussed and/or is well-known!

In any event, we're taking our first family trip to Disneyland in mid-November. My wife and I have four kids, aged 12-5. Although the trip is for everyone, my wife and I would be interested in some form of care for the kids for an hour or two on one evening, so that we might duck away to dinner at the Blue Bayou.

We're looking for some form of official/sponsored child care, at/near the park complex itself, as opposed to having to leave the grounds to find a "local" private party. Are there any such offerings to be had, or does anyone have any suggestions for us? :earsboy:

Thanks much for the time,
The Johnsons

I have never used this sevice, but it sounded good for the kids. It is called Pinocchio's workshop and it is located in the Grand Californian Hotel. Here is a link with the info. You have to be staying at one of the 3 resort hotels to use this, but at the end of the article it mentions that the hotels can make arrangements for a child care provider to come to your room.

hope this helps

If you are staying at one of the three Disneyland Resort hotels, you can use Pinocchio's Workshop. If you're staying offsite, you might ask them if they can recommend a sitter. There are no other sitting services at the Disneyland Resort.
