Hi I'm a newy here but have a planned trip to WDW for April this year, I've booked our theme park tickets but have now realised that I have booked child attraction tickets for 2 children who are 11 years old. We have been to Disney before with the same ticket company and no one ever asked us for ages of the children or even view their tickets but they were within the child age range then, what to do???!! Do I own up and pay the extra or cross my fingers and hope they don't notice and if they do pay the extra when we are there??

Any help much appreciated, this was a genuine mistake it was only after the booking was confirmed over the internet that I realised that although the 11 years olds are children to me, they aren't in Walt Disney's book!!:confused3

Hello And Welcome to the DIS :)

I would buy the ticket appropriate for the childs age. Contact the company you have purchased them from.

For Disney's Tickets a Child is 3-9 and an adult is 10+

Therefore for two 11 year olds you need to buy an adult ticket :)

Yes, I'm with Kaylee on this. I'd buy the adult tickets for them. Contact the company and ask them to exchange them for an additional fee.

Hi all, thanks for the replies.

I have emailed the company and explained, however, we did book Universal Tickets which had kids that go free and I think that's what threw me in the first place, so I'll wait and see what they come back with but it will probably only add another £80 to what we have already paid.

Do any of you know anything about booking priority seating at Cinderella Castle, does it have to be done by phone and how far in advance? I'm sure theres probably a thread to do with this but still working my way around the site.

Great news I am sure the company will sort it out for you and then you will have the correct tickets :thumbsup2

Booking ADR (new name for priority seating) can be done 180 days in advance the castle is very popular :) You need to call 001-407-939-3463.
