We have used the Military Salute tickets before, since my father is retired military. He has always been with us and using one of the tickets himself, so he activated all of our tickets with his ID.
We are planning to take our nieces to DLR (neither me nor DH is military, and my parents won’t be with us this trip). My BIL (nieces’ father) is active duty military, but neither he nor his wife will be on the trip either. If the kids buy Military Salute tickets for themselves only. (Either at their base IT office or onsite at DLR), would a child be able to activate the ticket at the gate with their military ID or would the military member or spouse be the only one who could activate the ticket (we would not be using military salute tickets since we all have APs, so only my two nieces, who both have active military IDs, would be using the Salute tickets)? I looked on militarydisneytips, and I still don’t feel sure about the answer.
Any experience on something like this? Thanks!
