Chicken strips at LTT for dinner??

Hi! I am doing all of our PS and just found out that one of our dinners (Garden Grill) is going to be under refurb starting 1/01/05. I am thinking of changing our lunch at LTT for the character dinner there. Can I get chicken strips for my extremely picky 6 year old or will he have to eat the family meal? Thanks!

Has anyone actually been able to order the kids chicken strips at dinner? The first time we ate there the kids ate great, but last summer I could barely get them to eat. It seems like such a waste of money when they barely touch the plates yet we love to go. Being able to give our DS the chicken might really help.

Quite frankly, you can order things like chicken strips at virtually EVERY WDW restaurant even if they aren't on the menu. Just ask. And, yes, my nephew ordered chicken strips at LTT for dinner, though he was charged the normal dinner price, I believe.

Carrieberry: I had been avoiding LTT lately because I also have a very picky 6 yr old who will need to order chicken strips. We are going in Dec though since I have seen other people post they have been able to order off the kid's menu at dinner although you pay the dinner price.
