Chicken Fingers?!?

Just curious, how many people out there feel the same way I do when it comes to the chicken fingers in Disney....THEY ROCK!!!

I know this sounds crazy, but I LOVE them and my family makes fun of me for it, so I was wondering if I was one of a select few who feel this way!

If you are referring to the ones served at the Electric Umbrella, those are okay. If you are referring to the breaded oven-baked chicken strips served on the kids menu for TS, I find those to be ever so disgusting.

Are they same gross nuggets that are in the kids meals?

The new nuggets are the same white meat from the chicken strips. I would assume that they take the white meat, cut it up, batter it, and fry it. They were not all the same size. But they were all pretty small. You could just pop them in your mouth and eat them.

I saw some people eating the fish and it's still the same.

I was pretty bummed too. Their chicken strips were so good. Next time something like this happens I'll have to remember to take pictures.

loribeth is right on about the strips being change to nuggets. I heard this on the Inside the Magic Disney podcast this week. Ricky Brigante, the host reported on this as he is a huge fan of Disney's chicken strips. He also stated the price is the same, yet the portions are smaller. Sounds like Disney's idea of portion control to me. My family is definitely NOT happy about this news!

I'm with you. I usually don't get annoyed with all the changes, but Come on! Maybe it won't last long. I remember in the '90's when they made only Turkey Hot Dogs & Hamburgers in the parks, to get healthier. They ended up being really gross. It didn't last long.

I think it's a better idea to write en-masse directly to WDW Guest Services and complain about this.

I was at Epcot on Sunday and MGM on Monday. Both parks converted to nuggets.

Anybody have a good email address for WDW we can use to complain?

What about at the food court at the resorts? They had good ones at the Pop, and at Backlot Express at MGM

All this talk about NO MORE CHICKEN FINGERS is making me sad What I am I going to do when I go in December! I guess I will starve

My cousin loves there chicken fingers!!! I'm 15 now but when my whole family went (mom, dad, cousin, grandparents, and aunt) when I was really little, all my cousin ate was chicken fingers. My mom and grandma talk about it to this day! It's so funny when they talk about it because of course I don't remember it but they always told her that she was going to turn into a chicken. I think they are very good too, but I don't have an obsession with them like my cousin did or still does!

How sad! I loved the chicken strips. I leave next week and I was looking forward to them. I don't like any kind of nuggets, they are never as good. When I hear "chicken nuggets", I think of McDonald's nuggets and they are gross.

We were going to do counter service for lunch one day at MK because I wanted chicken strips. Now I might try and make an ADR at Plaza.

My daughter and I love the Chicken Strips in WDW they are our absolute favourite CS meal. I will be so disappointed if they have been removed from the menu and I too have sent an email to voice my opinion.

I love chicken fingers!! No only Disney kind, but also every where else!! Last weekend I was sitting in a mexican restraunt in Kentucky and I ordered chicken fingers.
