Hi, I was just wondering if anyone knows if there is an Ed Debevic's somewhere in the North or Northwest suburbs.

Yup, Ed's is closed in Deerfield

The one downtown is fun and not hard to find. Have fun!

If you go to the downtown one, when you are finished there you can go across the street to Gino's for Chicago pizza!!!!

Geez, I am bummed about the Deerfield Ed's. One of my hotel ideas was the Embassy Suites, also on Lake Cook. That would have been too easy! Maybe we will head downtown.

Dan - If I do Gino's after Ed's, along with some Garrett's Popcorn - someone will have to roll me back to the hotel!

We just saw one from the street a few weeks ago....Lombard....near Oak Brook in Yorktown (I think) mall. West on Butterfield road from Oak Brook. Deerfield one is closed.

Sorry about the Deerfield info - its been awhile

And I too was up in the Chicago area this weekend and saw the Eds at Yorktown - we stopped there to go to VonMaur's but had eaten dinner earlier at Sweet Tomatoes...yum.
