Chicago Pride

We're going to Chicago Pride this year. We really enjoy St. Louis Pride every year (we live about half a mile from the parade route), but it's the same weekend as Chicago's, and we were invited up to stay with some friends that weekend. Anyone else going?

Bummer. I was hoping the answer would be last weekend in July. Thats when the IWFL champoinship game is. (And I fully believe our team is going to make it!). So we will be in chicago then.

I was just watching a video clip on Yahoo about Tiger Woods, and the clip that loaded after that was about the Carolina Phoenix. I immediately thought of you!! Does your team play against them?

I would love to see a game! I might have to get more details from you and plan another weekend in Chicago at the end of July!

The two teams have not played against each other...yet(They are in our conference). Here are the standings of all the teams.

I am not sure how other teams are to watch but our is a lot of fun. We always pack the stadium, thousands of fans. We have a dance team, a mascot and the national gaurd tossing things to the crowd at every touchdown (not to mention their rock climbing wall). I will admit the half time entertainment has been greatly lacking this year. However you never know what other professional sport player you might sit next to in the stands! I guess I just live in a town that loves their football.

Have fun! I LOVED the Chicago pride!! I even rode on a float a few years in a row! It is completely PACKED and a total blast! The parade rivals the March 17, irish parade....and that parade is one of the largest in the country I think!

We have been to Chicago Pride many times over the years. Unfortunately, we have a conflict this year. My God son's b/day party is that Sunday. So we won't be there to join in on the fun. Enjoy!
