You've got a lot of great recommendations. If your daughter likes zoos Lincoln Park Zoo is free and there is also Brookfield Zoo, which is not free and a little ways out of the main city, but is a really fun zoo.

If you're so inclined, and you might be because you are on the DISboards, practically around the corner from the CIBC Theatre (where you'll be seeing Hamilton) on State Street, is a Disney Store that has some unique Chicago themed merchandise and souvenirs.
