Chicago DISers--Is Gary Gone??

I was listening to AM89 yesterday and Roe made a few references that led me to believe Gary is gone for good and that Roe isn't all that far from being gone as well.

What's the latest scoop????

Gary was let out of his contract. From what I could tell it was because he got greedy (similar to what happened with him and Steve). I never listened to him with Roe, so I cant answer what Roe's status might be.

One week ago...last Wednesday, Ro said that Garry's contract officially ended that day within a few hours. He joked that if any news came in during the show he'd break in with the latest, but he basically said it didn't look good. Then he said he was going out of town for two days to a wedding (last Thursday and Friday) and told the listeners not to panic when he was gone. He's back on now, but Garry is gone. I think Ro will leave too when his contract is up, but has he ever said that officially???? It is not the same now.

It surely isn't the same. But shame on Gary for getting greedy. He's not a strong draw on his own and his partnership with Roe was his only value. Obviously his loyalty to Roe was not strong enough to triumph over the $$; I think Roe's hurt because now he realizes that as well.
Geez, I may turn into a WGN listener yet!!

I do not know who Gary is, a WGN radio listener here. It's like listening to the CB here on the DIS, LOL.
