Conference was great.. took one of my customers to Big River on last Sunday as he had a car and wanted a burger and a beer..I left The conference Wednesday and checked into POP> it is hard to believe that this is my first solo trip.. I can't count Mousefest as I was never alone..

It was EMH at AK, so I headed to Epcot for some wine and then to AK to ride EE 6 times.. This week was not crowded at all.. except for Saturday nite at F&W.

Thursday am was MK EMH so I got there at 8:30 or so, rode Buzz, Pooh, Snow White and took lots of pictures. I went to watch a street performers on Main Stree and met RRBB, Ian and Sophia. I was meeting them for breakfast at Crystal Palace. It was wonderful meeting them and the kids.. I "ll post pictures later once I get home and get them out of the camera. We saw the Capn Jack show and Sophia, RRBB and I went on Tiki Birds while Ian and Ohanafamily went on the camel ride.

I left them ,picked up my ticket for MNSSHP,and went to Epcot for more wine tasting.. I did the seminars and found them very informative..left after the 5:30 session, took the monorail to TTC and walked to the Poly for dinner with a diser at Kona. I had the coconut honey chicken.. very good.. after that we went over to the Grand Floridan and looked around and watched Wishes from the boat dock..

Friday I met my cousin who has moved to Lakeland, we had lunch and I saw their house and complex. It was very nice. Then he dropped me off at POP, I grabbed a jacket and headed out to MK for MNSSHP. I wanted to do the rides that would close at 7 pm before the party.. It was walk on on most rides.. my only wait was Jungle Cruise.. but it was worth it.. had a skipper named Kevin who was very funny ... at one point he asked Buzz to hit the hippos with his lazer and save the boat..he really played to all the people dressed up..

At 7 pm, the CMs were really checking wrist bands..everything was walk on..the parade and the fireworks were fantastic..I think it is much better than MVMCP..I met RRBB, Ohanafamily and family as I was leaving at midnight.. they said they had had a great time too..


Saturday- went over to AK to ride the safari and see Nemo.. then hopped over the Epcot to meet up with the PMSers.. We had the best time.. what a great group of people !!!! ..then I left them as 7:30 pm, and meet 2 families on the Repo cruise.. I meant to return to the PMS group but was tired, so i went back to POP.. and now I am sitting in the airport.. waiting for the flight home...

i understood exactly what you meant.

i was told when i went in late september that Kona was changing their menu and planned to remove the caesar salad.
did you notice if that happened yet?


glad you had a great business/pleasure trip at the motherland.

i love solo trips.
i'm doing solo again next october.

Please pray for us. Roman was admitted to the hospital this morning. I am beating myself up, waiting for someone to get here to watch the kids so I can head out there.

Hello everyone. He's been admitted for the next 7 days with RSV. I'm exhausted and can't stop crying seeing him hooked up to all those monitors. The worst part is that i'm at home and Sal is with him again tonite. I had to let my parents get home and get some sleep and All I want to do is go back there, but I know it's best for the kids not to think something is really wrong. The good thing is they are asleep and tomorrow my parents will be here brigth and early and I can head back to the hospital. We can still hold him, but all the connections are scary and his cough is just awful. Thank you for all the good thoughts and prayers.

did anybody get the nasty stomach virus that as been going around? My mom (nite0wl) and I had it and a bunch of other people that I know. It almost feels like you have a touch of food poisoning.

My Jeep just broke down today and DH can't figure out why, we have to have it towed to a auto shop, so that is messing up alot of my plans that I have to do this week.

Well better get to bed before I pass out on the keyboard

Michelle ~ RSV can be very scary. I will continue to think good thoughts for him. Try to get some sleep, and know that you are where you need to be right now, and that Roman has daddy there with him. I know that it was so hard on me when Nathan almost drowned and I was at home and Dewain was there with him. I took comfort, however, in knowing that they were together and that I was there to help the other two.

Michelle - I am so sorry to hear that Roman has RSV Katie had RSV 2 times - once when she was 3 months old. I couldn't agree more with you about the cough being scary - it's horrible!!!! I will continue to keep Roman in my prayers to get better ASAP , and I will keep you and Sal in my prayers too

Morning all
DMM keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. The cough with RSV is so scarey. I hope each day he is getting better and better. We are all thinking of your family and hoping Roman will heal fast.
Busy week here (as usual). The fundraiser for one school comes in this week, we have trees to decorate for Trees Around the District this week, school's big Craft Weekend is this weekend, kids only have school 3 days this week, so I have only 3 days to get it all done!!!
geffric great to hear from you and welcome back home. Little cooler here this week. Sounds like you had a great time. I would love a solo trip!!!! Then I could take pix without DH saying "you're stopping again?"
Mac, thanks for the listings. Wish there were more shows. I need one of those all day marathons on my day off!!!
Slo, sounds like you had a busy weekend. Hope you got all your work done. You should come to the craft show out here Sun if you have a chance. The trees done by all the schools get raffled off, and they look great!!!
Well, better shower and get on my way. Shopping to do. Hopefully, the school doesn't call for me to come pick Kyle up early. He was complaining of a scratchy throat and lost his voice this weekend. No fever and eating OK so I sent him to school. I hope we are not going to have to go through the strep throat business again.

And HI to all the new people on the Chicago Thread!!!


Halloween was awesome for us! Lots of trick or treaters!
Lauren dressed as a mime and got lots of great compliments! We made a sign for her that said "Trick or treat" on one side and "Thank You" on the other side! Everyone got a hoot out of it.
Hunter went as Mater from Cars and was so cute.





slo Glad to hear the cruise went well and you all had such a good time! Can't wait to see pics!!!
Sounds like your Halloween was lots of fun too!! I bet the girls looked so cute!!

took off work today and still cleaning the dump here.
this could become a full time job for me.....

i'm just starting my fall trip for next year...........
mr mac said if i dare take off on a trip for 15 days again he would divorce me.
i fgured if i cut the trip to 13 days that would help keep mr mac calm

Thank you all again, i'm home from another long day and ready to go to bed. The kids have had long days, but my dad is staying tonite, so I'm off to bed a bit early. Roman is about the same, but a little better in his cough. We're learning how to use the nebulizer and the inhaler and other things that will be brought home with him.

I am happy to hear that Roman's cough is a bit better. It is so very scary when babies are ill. They cannot tell us how they feel and we worry so much.

Glad to read and catch up on all my Chicago friends! It has been crazy here. I am pursuing the interview process with a great company over the past two weeks. I have interviewed with a total of 9 people there, phew! I am more than impressed with their interview process and feel it will be well worth while once I am on board. STill crossing fingers, but it is looking very good for me now.

Michelle Glad to hear Roman is doing better. Maybe you can relax a little. Alex had RSV now they had a vaccine for it. It is very expensive but cheaper than an hospital stay.

Donna Did you watch Amazing race. I missed it I thought it came on at 8:00 but it was all over when I turned on the Tv at 9. Oh well I have it set up to record next week.

Carol Glad to hear the interviewing is going well. You should be a pro by now. 9 interviews they should know by now where you best fit. Continued good luck

Bunchkin glad you came up for air. Life is to busy Lauren a mime I would have liked to see that. I bet Hunter was cute as Matter. His is one of my fav's from that movie.

Michelle I hope your feeling ok and my mom (nite0wl) said congratulation's on Roman she said she will never forget his birthday since its the same as her granddaughter's . What time was he born?
