Everyone have a great day!!

My house looks like it threw up and here I am on the DISboards. Priorities, you know! If I am on the pc, however, my back is to the mess and it is almost as if it does not exist! Anyway, just a quick drive by. We are closing tomorrow and will make a few trips down throughout the week. Our big move is Sat. We are going to hold out on internet and cable until the end of summer. The kids have become huge cartoon addicts this past year, plus it will save us a few bucks as we settle in. So, needless to say, I will be posting very little. Take care everyone and I will be sure to pop in when I can!:moped:

paintnolish, welcome to my world.

i am learning to ignore my house also. :rotfl:

carmen, so good to hear from you on the thread.

i sent you a pm a week ago. started to think you were away on vacay.

wishing you the best in your life carmen. you deserve it!

Hey, all...

Are the angels bowling by any of you? <Giant claps of thunder here, my mom used to always tell me the angels were bowling!>

I hope all the fathers in your life enjoyed father's day. We all went out for brunch together on Sunday. It is always such a treat to have all four of us together these days, so it was nice that we were all able to go! We also saw the new Fantastic Four movie this weekend. (Mark's choice)! I think I liked the first one better.

Slo...hope your business continues to pick up and grow. Sounds like you had a great family visit!

Jedi...good to see you post on the thread. Thx for sharing your pictures. If you ever need to talk, you know where we are!

Kim..good to see you posting on the thread, also. I always feel like I can never catch up with everyone when I am away, either.

Bunchkin...I *still* have sympathy for your paper cut...I don't care what our Crissup says;) ...those babies can HURT!!! I hope the swimming party doesn't get rained out....

Paint...you made me laugh with your house looking like it threw up comment...join the club!

Hersey...did Alex and his Dad have a good father's day?

Poohlovermom...Happy, happy birthday! And, many congratulations on being cancer free for two years. That's great!

Everyone...have a wonderful evening...talk to you all soon!!!:)

donna, not a drop here .........no boom booms either.
our high today was 82 degrees in Ztown. now the wind is blowing off the lake and we are down to 77 degrees.

weather channel stated we should get some rain/storms later tonight or early evening

We had pretty vivd lighting around 3:30 with pouring rain. Then 20 minutes later nada. My pour grass is still grasping for a drink. Hopefully later we will get some more rain but leave off the lighting please.

Alex and his dad had a great time at the Cougars game. Just a little too hot. Alex forgot to drink lots and started to not feel good. Good thing his dad noticed and made him drink. Alex has always been difficult about drinking water. When he was little I had to favor it with a splash of juice. I think his was around 6 before he knew what real juice and water tasted like.;)

Mac Hope things are ok in your neck of the woods. Here's hoping and praying you don't get rain dumped on you this time around to add to everything else.

you got that right hersey.

all i need now is a downpour.....

it is starting to have gray clouds in the sky and some pick up with the wind.

but maybe the rain will go to kenosha.

Thanks, Donna and mac

It's windy by me. It rained a little and thundered. But's not enough!! I want it to really storm. I love rainstorms.

I have been sitting here for 5 hours writing my website :headache:
I knew this wouldn't be easy, but holy cow, my butt hurts from sitting here.

mac - thanks for the listings!!:)

Becky - I hope your DS had a good first day of summer school:teacher:

Jedi - I've been thinking of you so much lately, I'm so glad you checked in!! I'm so sorry to hear about you and Toby  Remember we are here for you when you need us:grouphug:
*Your pictures are great!! It looks like you were all having lots of fun!!!

HERSEY - I'm glad Alex had fun at the game on Sunday :cool1: Thank goodness his dad saw him getting dehydrated so he could get some fluids in him.

Bunchkin - Thanks!!! :goodvibes
*Did Lauren have fun at her party? I hope she didn't get rained out.

paint - Good luck with your closing tomorrow and your move on Saturday.:wizard:

Donna - I'm glad you were able to enjoy Father's Day with your boys yesterday:goodvibes
*We had lots of thunder here too ::yes::

Well, I gotta get off this stool and stretch a little bit
I decided the rest of the website can wait until tomorrow :faint:

Have a good night tonight!!

Tony heard from his sister in regards to their mom. It seems that the golf ball sized tumor they removed from her bladder a couple weeks ago is an advanced stage of cancer, unlike the other tumors she had.
She is going in for a full body scan to see if it's still only in her bladder now or if the cancer has spread. If it's just in her bladder then they will remove it.
If it's spread through out the body the doctor states she won't have long to live. :(
Tony just spoke with his mom yesterday and she mentioned none of this.
So I'm not sure if she just found this out today or what. :confused3
And of course this leads again to the question of what will become of Tony's dad. :sad2: He has health issues and does nothing for himself. She pays all the bills too, so he has no clue what is what. :sad2: Tony's sister doesn't want to care for him, it's her step dad actually.
He will have to come here and be put into some kind of facility to live. He's too old to be on his own not even considering his health issues too.
He's 86 yrs old. And if left to his own devices he would probably drink beer all day. :sad2:

Sorry to dump all that in everyone's lap. I knew this day would eventually come but still. :(

On a good note, I picked up Lauren at the end of the party right before the storm rolled in.

We got hit with one small rain storm. And then later a huge down pour!! And the sprinkler was on then too!!! :rotfl: No one was brave enough to head out in the rain to turn it off!! :lmao:

paint Good luck with the move!!!

hersey When the kids are outside playing we put them full of bottled water...and the neighbor kids too. :)

Donna Brunch sounds yummy!!! I love to go for brunch!!

mac 77 degrees sounds perfect!! :goodvibes

Nicole So sorry to hear such sad news about Tony's mom and dad. How is Tony and the kids taking it?

Regarding Alex, you are talking to the Mom of the "I know. I know" kid

We've had just one little rain since I came home in our thunder/lightening show.

We haven't told the kids yet. It would be too much of a roller coaster ride emotionally especially with Lauren. So we are holding off till we know more.

Lots of thunder and lightening here (the kind that comes straight down from the sky. Right now it's raining again and VERY windy!! Shaking the house kind of windy!!!

it's now 72 degrees and only a tad of a sprinkle.
and that little shower was over in 15 minutes.

i'm waiting for the big boom booms.........

nicole, you can share anything here with us. remember, we are your friends in the box that are concerned about you and tony and the family.

it is not an easy task to do what has to be done with tony's dad if things turn out negative for your mil. i'm sure it will be heavy on her heart also.
i have you, tony, fil, mil, etc on my prayer list.

sometimes, things have a way of working themselves out. hopefully, tony's mom will be alright. keep us posted on how you and the fam are doing when you can. i know this has to be hard for you.

in the words of a wise old person (not me,I'm neither wise or old) get off the computer. Stay safe.

Okay, DS is freeking out about the storm (and it isn't even doing anything here really.) We had a little rain and some mild thunder. DS keeps looking out the window. He said he would come to my room if he woke up in the night.:scared1: I told him he better not. After 3 days of 12 hour shifts, I am looking forward to a good night sleep. Definately don't want any wiggly critters joining me.
Kids finally have their ENT appoint. on Thurs to evaluate for tonsils and adenoids to be removed. I hope MD agrees with me and can do it soon!!!
Bunchkin, so sorry to hear about your MIL. Cancer is such a horrible disease affecting so many. I will keep your family in my thoughts and prayers.
Jedi, good to see you back here. Great photos. Looks like you had a good time. :grouphug: I am sure the divorce is still hard to deal with even though you are both ready to move on.
Paint, good luck with the move. Hope all goes smoothly for you.
Thanks for the listings once again, Mac.
Everyone else:wave2: Going to :surfweb: a little and go to bed. My feet are weary. So is the rest of me.

btw, still now rain and it is now 73 degrees.
and that ends my meteorology report of the night.
