Tiggerrn I don't blame you for not wanting to post pics of yourself and your family.

jedi Have you started packing yet?? Please make sure to give us a trip report when you get back!! :yay:  :)

Disneynut 22 more days to go for you!!! YAY!! You and the kids must be so excited!! :yay:

geffric That's a great pic! But just looking at it makes my stomach feel squishy inside!! :faint: Coasters are NOT my friends!!! :rotfl:

Hi all-
Matthew is home with me today, as he is sick. He has been vomitting and diarrhea  All started when he woke up this morning. Poor guy :guilty:

All 4 of us went to my aunt's wake on Sunday. It went pretty well. First time my kids have been to a wake. They actually did very well. They played with other kids and their cousins in the lounge/food area.
Per my parent's wishes, I didn't go to the funeral yest. They were there, but I wasn't- which was ok with everyone else and me :)
Don couldn't get off early from work anyways to get the kids from school yest.

Slo- thanks for your concern about my vent from Sunday. People that don't even know me(this woman) should have stayed out of it. She didn't seem concerned for my kids, just her peace and quiet was more of a concern for her  I have dealt with alot of noise issues with my neighbor upstairs, that I never complained to my upstairs neighbor about and I never called the police on my upstairs neighbor- noise of parties she has til 2 am etc. Or coming home at 2 am and making lots of noise upstairs. Unfortunatley, the walls are thin here and noise can be magnifyed than it actually is. It's interesting tho, as more and more families w/ kids are moving into our condo/ coach home complex b/c the single family homes are extremely highly priced here by me. So the single people that live in our condo complex are going to have a rude awakening with all these families moving in every yr:eek: :rotfl2: I kid you not, a single family 1 floor ranch home with 3 bedrooms and 1 bath are selling for between $400,000 and $500,000! :sad2:

Hi to all :wave2:

I better get off here and attend to Matthew.

Have a good day everyone.

good tuesday afternoon chicagoland homies.

i am playing hooky from school today.........

Whew!! What a day. I finally got motivated enough to try to scrape off the end of or driveway. UGH!!! It's so much easier to just gun it & drive over the snow then shovel the snow that was in the street that the snowplow deposits at the end of your drive. :lmao:

Sunday, we had a high schooler come to offer to shovel for $10, so we took him up on the offer. However, he wasn't able to get the end of the drive (I know it was all that icy stuff), cleared decently. I saw him out there giving it a good go though.

However, we didn't bother shoveling the REST of the snow that came down later that night & the kids have been thinking it's great fun to go over the big bump to get in & out of the driveway. :lmao:

My parents are coming over tomorrow though to take the boys to school as I have to go back into Shriner's to see how DD is doing in her back brace. I figured I didn't want them to break their car going over the big bumps (or their neck -- since our sidewalk needed re-shoveling too). It's still not 100% clear -- sure would have helped if there was some actual SUN instead of the overcast...it would have melted some of it as I shoveled down.

Is winter done yet? ;)

Let's see anything else happening? Nope...just living under my rock.

Oh, DD really wants to go on that roller coaster at Disneyland. :thumbsup2 She has seen it on TV specials and always tells me she wants to go on that. I had *mentioned* maybe we could do a weekend out there for her 16th birthday but she's growing up too fast, so I don't think that's going to happen. We haven't won the lottery yet & they frown upon you robbing banks for vacation money. Besides, by that time she may have already gone via High School Choir.

Yup! robbing banks is definetly frowned upon ;) Knowing me I would write my note on personalized stationary :rotfl:

:lmao: :lmao: :rotfl:

That would be me! I worked in retail and honestly, I think I sat there with my mouth opened stunned at some of the things they would show us in training films for theft/fraud, etc... Some of it employee & my brain going "This would have never crossed my mind".

I'd be featured on Dumb Criminals or something if I even attempted to rob a bank. I would end up showing identification or something. :rotfl:

I have a hard enough time not doing dorky things normally without even trying...I wouldn't even want to try and do something like that...I my as well just walk right up to a police officer & turn myself in if I actually managed to make it out of the bank.

Maybe I could just do like some of those other people who beg on the internet? Just make up a page and say "I want to take my DD to Disneyland, please donate here". :rolleyes1

I could have used a laugh earlier today at work. We have gotten so busy very little time for laughing. Except for the person who wanted to know the middle of my last name:confused3. :rotfl2: She meant Inital of my last name. :rolleyes1 Ok back to not so much fun home stuff.

Hi, all! Hope everyone is doing okay...I'm waaaayy tired of winter...is it spring yet???

We went to see the penguin movie...Happy Feet...really enjoyed it! We even managed to get to the play on Saturday night...we saw the King & I, and had a nice dinner there, and of course, since the weather was so nasty, we just *had* to book a room and stay overnight!:) So, it turned out to be an okay weekend.

Sorry for the fly-by post...you guys are always in my thoughts! :)

Donna I never did get to see Happy feet! I guess I'll catch it on video.
Glad you didn't have to give up your tickets. We used to go to Drury lane for brunch it was soo good :thumbsup2

Don't you hate when you mess up with dinner timing?

I was being the nice mom and slacking off for dinner so that it would still be semi-warm when DD gets done with play practice which isn't until 6:45 (so say 7ish is when she will be home).

THEN as I'm now in the middle of this (I'm doing spaghetti so was waiting for the water to boil), I just remembered she told me they were having their cast pizza party today instead of Saturday after the play.

So...that's all for naught! I could have started supper earlier and been done with it. Now, I'm going to end up feeding DH & the boys & have to wait for me to eat until DD gets home because I have to go get her. My thinking was I could eat with her so she didn't have to eat alone.

See what being nice gets ya! ;) Now I'm going to be rushing around like a crazy person when I didn't HAVE to!

Sigh...now to wait for the timers to beep so I can feed the guys.

Thank you everyone for the good wishes, I am feeling fine so far, no morning sickness ( I never had morning sickness with the girls either) I had my 1st sonogram, all you can see though is a squggly line where the baby is, LOL. I should have my computer back up and running in about 1-2 weeks, I am at my mom's right now using my sister's. Well I will check back in soon 9hopefully :) )

ok hersey, i give up.

what is the middle " initial" of your last name............:rotfl:

becky, i say just give them burger king for dinner.
it used to work here just fine when time was a factor........

AI comes on soon.
i have watched it every season. even first season when it wasn't as popular.

i did and there were only 2 positions to vote for this time.
mayor and commissioner.

macraven I only watch AI during the commercial breaks for Lost!!!
I love LOST!!!! :yay:

I just watched the trailer for the new Tinker Bell movie coming out next year. It was sooooo cute!! Too bad Lauren is in the shower and missed it!! :rotfl:
I guess I should be nice and show it to her when she gets out! ;)

Hi, all! Hope everyone is doing okay...I'm waaaayy tired of winter...is it spring yet???

I agree.. I am sick of all this white stuff. March is suposed to be rainy and icky and not snowy.

Bunchkin I am a LOST fan too..

just got back from Eric jazz band concert.. so i need to make some order of the kitchen and start staging lunches.. have a good evening.

I'm so mad! :furious:

I had to finish up some work tonight, so I brought my laptop home. I went to check my e-mail, and I saw a message from the boss saying that we have to work this Saturday, too! So this is the second Saturday. I'm hoping we'll get an extra day off for this, but I doubt it. He said we're going to have a party, but I really don't care. Unless it's during work hours, it'll probably just be inconvenient. I'd rather have time off! I got so much done last weekend, and I have so much to do, and this is just taking up time I don't have. :sad2: :sad1:

I watched Idol tonight. Blake is my favorite. I didn't like him as much tonight as I did last week. Last week I thought he was great! And there's a video on YouTube of him doing a song in a concert which is great, too!

Oh, and confession time. I  Simon. Isn't that awful?!? :scared1:  :rotfl:

I cleaned so much yesterday that my back hurts and me hands hurts from ringing my rag out while scrubbing floors. I even pulled out my fridge and cleaned behind there, and good thing I did. All I can do is make this face :scared1: to describe the dirt back there. I still have work to do today because I didn't have time to finish yesterday. But, it's very little - I just need to vaccuum and dust upstairs.

geffric - that rollercoaster looks like so much fun. I haven't been on a roller coaster like that in so many years. I wish Stephanie likes roller coasters so we could go to GA, but she doesn't :sad2: Maybe someday.......

Jedi - You have 5 days to go - how exciting!!!! :woohoo:

Bunchkin - The Tinkerbell trailer does look great and we are looking forward to seeing that movie :goodvibes

Rosemarie - I'm so sorry to hear about Matthew being sick  How is he today? I'll send alot of get well PD his way :wizard:

macraven - I hoped you enjoyed your day playing hooky :)

Tiggerrnnn - :wave2:

Becky - I hope the Shriners tell you good things today:wizard: . Let us know how DD is doing in brace.

HERSEY - :wave2:

Donna - Sounds like you had a nice weekend :goodvibes I really want to see Happy Feet. We wanted to take the kids when it was at the theater, but it never happened. I'm really looking forward when it comes out on video.

Amy - I'm so glad to hear you are feeling well :) Keep us posted on how you are doing, we miss you!!!

Leigh - That's a real drag that you have to work on Saturday  I would be annoyed too ::yes::

Well, I guess I should get my day started.
Stephanie just has a 1/2 day today, so she is happy :cool1:
I'll check in later

Have a good day!!!

Sorry that you have to work Leigh. It is year end stuff? Hopefully you will get soe time off as you are moving soon..

Morning.. another gray day in Chicago. I am so ready for spring. When is your Spring Break? and what are you gonna do?

Our scholl distrcit has Spring Break last week of March and if I close some sales I can take the time off and go somewhere as this is one of the last vacations with all of the boys. If not, I work..
