I'm glad to hear that it wasn't Jungle cruise getting changed. We didn't do the Living with the land on our last trip. I think I was on my quest to get to Figment and forgot :confused3.

Ok I know I'm spoiled but I don't want snow this weekend or any other time. Sorry there I said it. I don't want to sholve any more this year.

paintnolish Glad to hear school and the kids are going well. Going back to school is tuff :thumbsup2

Mac How are you feeling?

This morning is going by fast I hope it means this day will be over before I know it.:cool1:

TGIF everyone!!!! :cool1:

It's weird to think that this time last week we were about ready to climb into our limo, and pull out of the driveway for WDW. Time sure flies!!!!!

I don't have a lot planned today - I think I'm just staying home (that way I won't spend any money. I need to not spend money after coming home from our trip last week).

Bunchkin - Was Tony able to take down the Christmas lights last night? I thought of him and I was hearing the wind blow. I was hoping he did for you so you didn't have another sleepless night.
**I just saw your post about Tony getting down the lights - I hope you slept better last night. :)

Mindy - Wow, that's an amazing building!!!!!

Sam - Your story about wearing the hat on the train made me smile :) Thanks for talking about the pre-order for Peter Pan - I'm going to need to do that!!!! :thumbsup2

Debbie - I hope the exercises and the prescription help your arm:wizard: Please keep us posted!!!

Jedi - Have you made ADR's for your trip coming up?

Becky - Good luck with the birthday party today:wizard: Happy birthday to your DS!!!! :bday: :cake:
**Congrats to your DD for making the play!!!:woohoo:

HERSEY - Those smilies have always been around. Maybe they are placed somewhere different and you notice them now.

geffric & Leigh- :wave2:

paintnolish - Good to see you!!! Good luck with your second semester of school:wizard:

macraven - No CM on Living with the Land  :sad1: Stephanie loves this ride, and in 2005 she was able to sit in front with the CM and help them talk about some plants - she loved it!!!!!!
**I hope you are feeling better!!!

To everyone else - :wave2:

Well, I gotta get Steph up for school:teacher:
Have a good day today everyone!!!

This picture is for Janice - she told me to rub Humphrey's nose for her

When we first walked in the main door of the resort, this is what we saw. I took more pictures, but they turned out very poor

When we waited for our car, this is what we always saw - to cool!!!!

I'll post more pictures this weekend after I get a chance to upload them to Photobucket:)

Good Morning everyone!

I was woken up by Hunter around 5:45am, of course he went back to sleep right away. He wanted me to sing a song to him! :) He does this a lot if he wakes up too early in the morning. He'll come in by me and ask me to sing him a lullaby. :cloud9: Of course I have a hard time falling back to sleep! :rotfl:

Last night I watched a new DVD I got for Christmas, "White Christmas".
I love this movie. I love old movies!!! I have been wanting this movie for years and no one was buying it for me as a Christmas present. So I gave up asking for it and I bought it myself and handed it to Tony to give me as a present!!! :lmao:

slo Yes, it was much easier to sleep without little lights smacking up against the windows of the house at 1am!!! :rotfl:
Not spending money is a good thing! I'm working on that myself. Especially since we have another trip coming up in less then 3 months. ;)

Sam In Oct we had the girl mobster. 1st of all, we could hardly hear her and we were towards the front of the ride!! 2nd of all, she's about as much Jersey as I am!!! :teeth:
The other day we had a dude mobster and he looked just like a character from The Sopranos whose name I can't type because it will be deleted!! He even sounded like him! :rotfl:

Hersey I think you're sleeping at the switch over there. Those smileys have been around a while! ;)

paintnolish Good to see you stop by! Glad to hear all is well in your world! Good luck planning a trip without the kids!! ;) :rotfl:

Debbie I have never gotten into watching Greys. I keep thinking of him in that movie from the 80's where he was a pizza delivery boy and he was delivering more than just pizza to his lady customers!!! :rotfl: :lmao:

Becky The dress you made your DD was very nice! I hope you don't have to make a carpet for her to wear!! ;)

Well, my little Frodo Baggins is up and needs to eat breakfast! :)
And I need to go wake up Princess Lauren for school.

Have a great day everyone!! :3dglasses

GREAT pictures Sandy!! :goodvibes
I love the one with the Christmas tree! That wasn't there when we stopped by via the ferry to check out the lobby.

I really need to get my pictures on the computer. :)

Thanks!!! :goodvibes

When we returned from DTD Friday night, at about midnight, they were just starting to take them down. Then when we left to see our friend run at about 5:20am, they were gone - incredible!!!! I couldn't believe my eyes, because there was alot of decorations in there.

I have never seen White Christmas, and I'm embarrassed to say, that I own it. My friend, the one you met, gets so mad at me (jokingly), because he loves that movie. I always intend to watch it, but then it never happens - I don't know why:confused3

Oh.....I forgot to post this earlier.

Yesterday my newest big fig came and it was cracked:sad1:
It is a Christmas one with Mickey dressed as Santa, and Pluto dressed like Rudolph - it's to cute!!!!!:goodvibes
I'm going to keep it out all year in my Mickey Mouse bathroom (pending I still get one. Kevin said that a CM told him there weren't many left)

Yesterday, my B-Day present I bought for myself (I had disney dollars and a AMEX gift check given to me in October for my b-day) came too. It was Cinderella's Castle that lights up. It's part of this new village that has come out - and the detail is incredible. The castle also lights up, and changes color, just like the real castle does at night. It breaktaking, and I love it!!!! :goodvibes

Great PIX Sandy!
I love:love: looking at peoples pix! I like posting them too. I think it's fun. Is this your new castle...
DSC04224.jpg

I have most of the peices of it and it is my FAVORITE Christmas decoration! They used to sell the pieces in the Disney catalog but now I think you can only get them at WDW. I realized this year I am missing 3 pieces and I WANT THEM!

I am glad you guys had so much fun on your trips. I just love that place!

Slo I hope you can get another figure. That's too bad it came cracked. :(

Debbie Nice picture! :goodvibes

Slo - where did you get the castle?? That sounds soooo neat! I'd love soomething like that :goodvibes I haven't made ADR's yet for DL. The only place I know I'm going for sure is the Blue Bayou and a friend, who lives out there, is meeting up with me and treating me to dinner! :thumbsup2

i really love seeing pictures from the trips.

i now have a digital camera and still trying to figure it out.

someday i will and then have to learn how to send them by computer.

have a good friday chgoland homies.....

Well, I worked out an hour this morning - the first time in years.
Before I had Stephanie, I worked out everyday and was training myself to run a marathon (especially the WDW marathon) someday. When I got pregnant with her, I was up to 6 miles and going strong.

After I had Steph, I tried running again, and that's when the heal spurs started to hurt, and my doctor told me to not run anymore - I was devostated:sad1: I took it very very hard!!!!

When I was at the expo last weekend, there was someone there to help people with sore feet - I didn't go, but I'm going to talk to my Podiatrist about ways to help my feet with running. The last time I talked to him about this was 8 years ago, and maybe something has been developed since then.

Then when I went to see my friend run, I really got inspired to start running again. I really want to do that 1/2 marathon at WDW so bad I can taste it. So....I got out my handy dandy stepbox arobic tape and my 8 minute abs tape and did that this morning - I have to work on my cardio before I start to run. I have to say though - I can feel myself getting sore already:rolleyes: I don't have a box to step on, because I sold it in a garage sale, so I just did the tape without it. I will need to go buy another one.

So......I wanted to say to you all, there may be days that I don't have time to do in-depth posting, because I like to workout in the morning, and I do my main DIS time in the morning. If I leave anyone out, please don't be upset, it's not on purpose. I'll try to keep up as best as I can. It will be easier on the days I'm home, but not on the days I work. I probably won't start running until very early spring, but until then I will be doing my other workouts in the house. So that's my story, and I'm sticking to it!!!!:lmao:

:cheer2: :cheer2: GO SLO GO :cheer2: :cheer2:

Don't worry about us! We'll be here and can even offer a brief synopsis whenever you need to catch up!

Debbie - That castle is not the same as the one I just got - mine is not a Christmas castle (your castle is beautiful - I just can't get enough of Cinderellas Castle). Here's a picture of my castle

endof2006110.jpg

I also got these very very very tiny figurines to go with it.
I told Kevin the boxelder bugs are going to carry them off because they are so tiny:lmao:

endof2006111.jpg

Leigh and Bunchkin - I hope I get another one too. When I called the CM, he said he wasn't sure and someone would call me.

Jedi - I got this castle at the Fine Art store at DTD. But I also saw it at some other fine art stores throughout the parks.

macraven - If you have any questions about how to post pictures from your digital camera please ask me. If myself or anyone else can't answer it, try PMing Dan Murphy - he was such a wonderful help to me.

I gotta run and get some laundry done
Later gaters!!!!!

slo, is your castle by Robert Olszewski? He's done miniatures of practically the entire Disneyland park. (Ok, I think that's an exageration (sp?), but he's working on it.) They have them at the Disney Gallery at DL. Here's the HM.

Not a great picture since I didn't use a flash because it was behind glass.

And I think this one says JC? It's hard to read with the size it is.

And here is the Mark Twain.

Those are from my last trip. I have pictures from my trip before of a lot of the rest of them, but I don't have them uploaded. Here's Olszewski's web page.

Oh, and while I have these pictures up. Something I didn't post before that I learned on my Walk in Walt's Footsteps tour....The Disney Gallery is what was built to be Walt's new apartment. It's over PotC. (The old one was over the Fire Dept. in Town Square.) But Walt died before it was finished, I think. But the guide said that Walt liked to read in bed, and Lillian liked to rearrange the furniture, so he planned it with a ton of electrical outlets all around the walls so he could always plug a lamp in where he needed to. I couldn't see it when I was there with the tour last year because Thomas Kinkaide was going to be there the next day to sell some paintings, and they were in in that room, but this year I got to see it. Here are the outlets.

:rotfl2: There were a ton of plugs. I thought that was hillarious. :thumbsup2

Leigh - I just looked, and yes it is ::yes::
Currently there is only Main Street and Cinderellas castle for WDW. I love the pictures of the ones from DL. I hope he does more buildings for WDW.
