This time on Friday I will be leaving for WDW:cool1:
I finally put about 3 things in the suitcase last night - I"m going to finish my packing today:thumbsup2

My review of Night at the Museum:
I LOVED IT!!!!!!
I give it 2 hugs thumbs up :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2
I thought the movie was lots of fun, and it made me laugh outloud:happytv:
If you like the movie Jumanji, you will love this movie ::yes::

Sam - Live trees are great!!! I wish we could have one, but Kevin would have an allergic asmatic attack if we did:eek: He's so allergic to all that stuff.
**I'm glad you had a great NYE with Nicole and family - it sure sounded like fun!!!!

Bunchkin - Your NYD was so much more productive than mine was. Mine was lazy lazy lazy. We watched the "lost disc" from our PotC movie and it was very interesting. There was an interview with Johnny Depp where he was talking about how he came up with Jack Sparrows look. He said that Keith Richards was his inspiration for the characters look - very interesting!!!!
**I'm so glad that Hunters arm is doing well after his PT - that's great!!!
**I'm also glad that Brunch went well - when you have a chance, can you give me the receipe for your breakfast casserole (in a PM so I can save it until I write it - thanks!!!!)
**Thanks for compliment of the girls pictures :goodvibes You got a peek of Kevin's racing museum - oh I mean basement;) He actually is not much of a Danika fan, he just likes showing off his autograph;)
**I'm so sorry about Tony getting rear-ended. Thank God he wasn't hurt!!!!

Leigh - Thanks for your compliment about the girls pictures:goodvibes \
**I thought you got the BB Cat - I misunderstood (that's what happens when I post this early:rolleyes: )
**I'm glad she found her AG doll

HERSEY - That Animal Planet show would have inspired me too ::yes::

Jedi - So many hugs to you!!!!! :hugs: We are always here for you, and you are never dumping on us:grouphug:

Becky - Good luck with all your birthday party planning:wizard: I'm sure everything will turn out great!!!!

Donna - Sounds like you had a great NYE and NYD:) Those are very good questions about the NY celebration. My question is - where do all those people go to the bathroom, and if you are in the middle of that crowd, how do you get out to go, and if you get out, can you ever find your party again? :confused3
**Thanks for the compliment on the girls pictures :goodvibes

Tiggerrnn - Thanks for the compliment of the girls pictures:goodvibes
**Where you in the delivery of twins?

macraven - Thanks for the compliment of the girls pictures :goodvibes

rmom - Thanks for the compliment on the girls pictures :goodvibes

Debbie - It's to bad you live far off from me. My friend collect toys to be given to needy children. I love this charity because these toys are given at no charge, unlike goodwill that will be sold at there stores. All of my girls toys they don't play with anymore go to this charity.

Kim - :wave2:

I also want to thank everyone that gave Nicole and I well wishes on our trip coming up :goodvibes It's so hard to believe we are leaving on Friday. I'll give a full trip report when I come home!!!!

Well, I gotta run and get Steph off to school:teacher:
Have a good day today everyone!!!

Yay!!! It's sunny out!!! :goodvibes

Well, DH drove into work again today. If it was me that got into an accident last night, I would have taken the train in today. He's supposed to be car-pooling with a guy from work. But that didn't happen yesterday (the guy woke up late) and it obviously didn't happen this morning either.
I think DH should just start taking the train again, as his van sucks up gas!! Which makes driving way more expensive then the train.

And like slo said, THANK YOU to all who have wished us well on our trip!! :thumbsup2
I'm really excited about leaving and being in WDW, but I'm starting to already miss the kids and I'm not even gone yet. :(
This will be our first trip (to anywhere) without them.
And I think it's been affecting my sleep, I keep thinking of the what ifs that can happen while we are gone. I really need to learn to relax.

slo I'm glad the movie was so good!! I'm really looking forward to seeing it. :)
Did you watch the 1st POTC or the 2nd??
PM will be on it's way shortly with recipe in it. :)

jedi I feel the same way when I'm on the Dan Ryan. People drive so crazy on it!! Traffic had come to a complete stop when DH had gotten hit. He actually saw the guy fly up and then skid into him as he hit his brakes. The guy was obviously not paying attention. :sad2: And of course there was no where for DH to go.

Kim Have you told Kelly about Dancing with the Stars yet?? I remember you saying you were keeping it a secret from her.

macraven I could never trick my kids like that. Lauren's way too smart! And of course she would clue her brother in that they were being scammed!! :rotfl:

Hi to eveyone else!! :wave2:

Lots to do today....again!!

Hi all-
Woke up with a sore throat this morning  . The kids have been back at school and already bringing homework home- so back to the homework grind
On New Years Day, we went to see Charlotte's Web finally. I give it 2 thumbs up :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 We have the original 1971 movie, but I really like this new one better. Both movies truly go by the book really well. this new movie was very teary-eyed at the end. Both DH and I had some tears streaming down our faces. We knew the story, so we already knew what to expect, but this new movie was very well done :)

Also, we finally watched Christmas with the Kranks on DVD last night. My mom bought us a used copy from Blockbuster for a Christmas gift. It was a pretty funny movie :happytv:

Slo- thanks for the review of Night at the Museum :thumbsup2 . Haven't seen it yet, but maybe soon or just wait until on DVD. I had a feeling it might be like Jumanji, as Becky had a preview trailer link here about a month ago.
The girls pics were really nice :)

Slo and Bunchkin- have a great trip to the World :cool1:

Becky- let us know how the movie birthday party goes for your ds. i was thinking maybe doing one of htose movie party things for my kids 10 yr birthday party in April. Not sure what we are doing yet, as a 10 yr birhtdya party for the kids. I know we did a big bowling birthday party for Chrissy and Matthew's 7yr party.

Whoever mentioned about doing a bowling DISmeet, we would be interested as well :thumbsup2

Jedi- Hope you are doing better.

Debbie, SamIam, Leigh- I have hte same problem with cleaning stacks of papers, old toys, etc. I got to get going on hte huge cleaning projects, too ::yes::

Hi to all :wave2:

Forgot to ask Geffric- How was the wedding in LA? You said something about meeting or seeing Snoop Doggy Dog (or whatever his name is) at the airport. Not a big fan of his at all, but just curious, did your boys get his autograph?

Bunckin: See what happens when you leave the Rock Island. We put a bad mojo on ya and then you have to come back cause you wrecked your car. Once you get on the train, you can never get off!!

Hey, I got my tree down last night! Dan (DH) decided it was such a nice tree, he set it back in the stand in some water right outside our front door. So, now we have a new evergreen. DH then said he paid $80 for that tree and he is going to get his money's worth.

Then because y'all are going to WDW, I got the "jones" and started pricing out trips for a couple days in April! Now, get this, my TA quoted me rack rates. I wanted to write him back and tell him Dude, if you are going to give me rack rates, I'll just book straight through Disney. Whatta marooon!! :rolleyes2 Did he think I wouldn't check Disneyworld.com's prices before emailing him?

So, for April 14 to the 17th, it would be $1001.75 for POFQ and we are talking base tickets, no dining program, no park hopper. It would also be $785 for Pop Century (even though I said I didn't ever want to stay there again) which is a decent price. These spring rates are pretty high!! They got us comin and goin! That's for sure! So, I'm not sure if I want to do this or not. It's like I can't make up my mind what I want to do this year. I'm hoping once this full moon wanes, I will be able to make a DECISION.

I'll have to wait and see what the old bonus check looks like. Maybe, just maybe I could swing both!! Wouldn't that be RIGHTEOUS! DUDE!!

:dance3:

So, there, I blabbered all about myself! I hope everyone else is doing well and I will go read and be informed about the goings-on in all y'all life!

Sam!

Imagine how we feel at the library! :rotfl2: We've had occasions where we have candles (for a program or something) and we think, "Hmmm, should we really be doing this??"

Oh my, I'm not sure I can ever go to the Library again!! Just kidding! No candles Jedi, just nice low wattage light bulbs that don't give off a lot of heat!

:rotfl:

Hey there!!!! :wave2:

I'm just sitting here waiting for Ms. Katie to fall asleep so I can go pack. She doesn't like her door closed, and if I'm in my room packing, she can see what is going on, and then she won't want to nap.

Stephanie got off to school well today:teacher: even though she is sad that Christmas break is over.

Katie and I got our errands done in record time today - which is always a good thing:thumbsup2

Bunchkin - I got your PM - thanks!!!:thumbsup2
**The "lost" disc was from the first one, but we just watched the PoTC2 on Saturday, and we really liked it alot. ::yes::
**What you posted about missing the kids already is happening to me too. I"m going to be calling them all the time - but that's okay, they'll love that:love: I also have all the "what ifs" going through my head too. Luckily though, we are just a cell phone call away if we need to be gotten a hold of right away.

Rose - I'm sorry you aren't feeling well. I think we need to disinfect the DIS - so many people I talk to aren't feeling well lately:sick: I'll send lots and lots of PD your way!!!:wizard: :wizard:
**I'm glad you enjoyed Charlotte's Web - I want to see that myself.
**We really liked Christmas with the Kranks too:santa:
**Thanks for the compliment on the girls pictures and well wishes for our trip:goodvibes

Sam - That's great about getting your tree down :) I hope it lasts awhile for ya on the front porch.

Boy, the house seems so quiet with Stephanie gone. I"m not sure if I enjoy it:woohoo: , or if I'm lonely :guilty: Probably a little of both;)

Well, I"m off - it sounds pretty quiet upstairs :tiptoe:
Later gaters

Hi Ho.. just checking in,,, I am having a really bad day at work...:headache: :scared:

anyway..

Feeling any better roseprincess? what are you doing/taking for the sore throat?

Jedi..:grouphug:

SamIAm21 that is a big difference for POFQ to POP.. maybe you can get a deal.. AP rates are only out until 3/3/2007..

Have a wonderful time SLO and Bunchy.. an adults only trip.. I am jealous..

Maybe Jedi, Mac and I will go to WDW for an adults only trip?? What do you thinks ladies? But I can't go the last month of a qtr...

AP rates... ahhh wouldn't I love to be able to justify buying one of those. AP's are for people who visit more than 13 days per year. I don't think I could get there that much this year. Maybe just four days at WDW and about the same for Disneyland. I might not even do the WDW trip if I can't swing a better deal than that! I might just put all my "effort" into the DL trip. There were just so many things left undone at WDW. Didn't get a chance to ride Maelstrom, Megan wanted to ride Living with the Land again (weird huh??), I wanted to ride Rio Del Tiempo, but never made the time... so much to do, so little time.

Same goes for DL. We missed POTC last year because it was being refurbished, so that will be a real treat, didn't even see all of DCA (and that's not much of a park to begin with). I can't think about this anymore right now and besides, there's always the free dining stuff later in the year at WDW. Maybe I should just wait??

WILL SOMEONE MAKE THAT FULL MOON GO AWAY SO I CAN MAKE A DECISION!! sorry didn't mean to yell... :rotfl:

Welcome julsmom! :welcome:

DMM- nice to see you here!! How are you, dh, and the kiddies??

geffric- I'm taking Halls cherry cough drops, drinking juice, had chicken noodle chunky soup for lunch. Stilll have thee sore throat, tho.

Ok, I gotta go and get the kids off the bus. Talk later.

hahaha!! Hey Leigh! i just saw the thread on the Community board, now that our POPpers thread was moved there and i decided to drop in! how are you?
