Happy 1st day of November everyone!!!

I hope everyone had a great Halloween!!!
We seemed to get a lot of people driving into our subdivision to trick or treat!
Oh Well!!


IS ANYONE PLANNING ON GOING TO THE MAG MILE FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS NEXT WEEKEND???

We are going, and I was kjust wondering if anyone else is!!!

Hey don't make fun of us people that have to drive to other subdivisions to go trick or treating. Megan and I do it too! Now, see, we have lots of old people in our neighborhood that never open the door and we have maybe one or two houses we can T&T at. Heck I have a convicted child molester right across the street, so I can't go there!! So, we went to another neighborhood last night for T&T'ing. Megan had a blast and like Stephanie, when she complained about being cold, I didn't hesitate to get her in the car and go home!

I'm so surprised that the Mag Mile Festival is soooo early this year. It's usually held the weekend before Thanksgiving. So, it's next week eh? If it's warmer, I might have to go. I always wanted to that's for sure!

Sam - Once we got him to the boat the guide cut the line close to the sharks mouth. the hook will fall out after a few weeks. The shark will be fine.

Ahh okay! Just cut the line. Very smart! I couldn't imagine anyone reaching into his mouth trying to get that hook out. Too many teeth to contend with there! That shark will think twice before latching onto any more fish heads!!

The Mag Mile Festival of Lights is NEXT weekend, the 18th of Nov. Which is the weekend before Thanksgiving, SamIAm!!

Mickey is still apart of the parade. ***BUT**** there is no Disney stage show this year. They are having the girl's from the American Girl threatre perform Holiday songs, etc.

We have never been to the Fest. of Lights, but always have wanted to. I know several people who go every year and they love it.
And even though I am a BIG American Girl fan, I still would have rather the stage show to have been Disney.

But we are going any way!!!!

I am currently looking for hotel room on Michgan Ave. so I can watch the parade from my room if it's too cold!!!


SamIAm You should have brought Megan over here by us!!

Did she tell you Lauren and I saw her yesterday as school was being dismissed??

I hope everyone had a safe, fun and WARM Halloween! I was chilled to the bone from trick or treating! Yes! Trick or treating! As I mentioned to NiteOwl -you don't need your own kids to go ToT! I just borrowed my uncle's kids and my cousin's kids

Well this weekend is the 4th and 5th, the following weekend is the 11th and 12th and then the Next weekend after that is the 18th & 19th. So, that's why I was confused!! Tee hee! Believe me, I know every single weekend in November. I'll be busy through each one!! 25 DAYS!! Yeehaw!

Megan did say she saw you guys and I probably just missed you because I picked up Megan right about 12:15. She was in Ivy League a whole 10 minutes! HA!

I took Megan down to the new subdivision on Schoolhouse and Joliet Hway. One of my "train friends" lives down there and she told me to head over there. Megan was AMAZED at all the kids. Our neighborhood has about 10 kids total. So, we did scoop up lots of treats!! The New Lenox Police were there handing out glow necklaces. Megan thought that was awesome. She said Mom, you have to pay for these things at WDW!!

Megan made a great JoJo!! The costume was really warm too, but once that sun went down, we both got pretty chilly pretty quick!!

Wow am I ahead of myself!!! I think I'm trying to push time along so I can go on vacation too!! Either that or I'm trying to do too many things at once here.

Too bad I can only utilize it on the way down. The flight times on the way back aren't that great. The last one leaves at like 3pm. And we want to stay at WDW on our last day till late at night. So I found a pretty good fare with Southwest on our flight back. And it leaves at 9:30pm!!!

Well, it's lunch time here and Frodo needs to be fed....again!!
He already had breakfast followed by second breakfast.


And SamIAm, I kind of freaked out when you corrected me on the those dates!!!! I could see myself going down town next weekend and waiting for the parade all day to start!!

"Don't scare me like that, don't you know I'm a heart patient!!" (Words to be said in any scarey situation or especially when your daughter is trying to fall backwards out the side of a moving hay ride!!)

I hate the cold and wind too but I am gonna go if it's not too tretuous. Last year I just went downtown during the day because DS was a newborn and boy was I sad when they showed Mickey on the TV that night! My DH is already whining! Boy do I wish that Tink could hit him with some PIXIE DUST!
