Lots and lots of jealous vibes sent out to everyone who gets to go the "motherland" soon!!!! Especially you, Carrie, you are so lucky to get to go back again so quickly after your last trip!!!! And, you, too Disneymama...four times in one year...wow!!!!

Sandy, I feel so awful that your DH waited in the car the whole time at the Rosemont meet! And, you asked about what Christopher is studying...he is in his senior year of college and is majoring in computer graphics & interactive media. I can't believe he's *already* a senior!!! Talk about time flying!!

Yesterday I did some cleaning. My mom came by last night to babysit the kids so dh and I could go to Curriculum night at school. Went to Curriculum night last night. Pretty much it.

BTW, if there is anyone here that is not up to going to the Motherland, can I go in your place? j/k

Orland is great. Joliet is a little far, but I could still do it.

Hello!!

Back from expectation night at the school!! Everything went really well!! I told DD's teacher we are going away next month and she was fine about it!!

I got to meet SamIAm and her DD, Megan!!! What a very nice DISer!!! And such a cute little girl Megan is!!!
They gave me their left over coupon book from Disneyland!!!!
Thank you Susan!!!!

You are so welcome Bunchkin, and please call me Sue. If you call me Susan, I'll probably think I'm in trouble or something because only my Mom calls me Susan! I hope you get more use of the coupon book than I did! We were only in DL for about three days in total and I couldn't get Megan out of the parks or the hotel pool. She only likes shopping when it pertains to her too, so if I wanted anything, well that's just BORING!

It was great to meet you too, but there were way too many ladies there last night with red shirts and denim capris on. Sorry about the shirt switch too. Apparently, I dribbled coffee on myself sometime during the day and never noticed til Megan pointed it out over the dinner table. It looked tacky so I changed!

Lauren was also very adorable and her and Megan are "freckle twins". They look adorable on them both, but can you imagine what it's going to be like as teenagers when they zero in on them and insist they look horrible are just not COOL!

Seems like my husband does have a lot of clones on the DIS boards! And here I thought I managed to pick the only guy out there with social anxiety disorder! and a rare dislike for Disney-anything. Bunchkin, he does fish, but even that might not be tempting enough for him to actually converse with people who may bring up the topic of their recent trip to Disney. You oughta see him when I flip through our Disney photos and insist he reminisce with me! Too funny!

Well a little more to catch up on! Gotta go read! You guys are averaging like 15 to 20 pages a day! Whew!

You ladies were just too busy last night! The last two nights I have gone to bed before 10. I am exhausted from the trip!

macraven and Niteowl- We were in bed late and up early every day. DD fell asleep in Country Bears, Sci Fi Dine In, and Universe of Energy. I almost fell asleep in Carousel of Progress...so dark and cool, with comfy seats! One morning we were out of our room, waiting for the bus at 7. DS said it was still night time, bc it was kind of dark!

DMM- Stop quoting Dora songs! I read them and then they get stuck in my head! DD loves to sing. She wears her headphones and sings loudly and off key.

Bunchkin- DD with an attitude? Mine is 5 and she is horrible! She acts like a teenager. I am convinced it is a girl thing. DS is a sweetie.

KimRaye- for your nephew. I hope things get better!

Jedi- Since I was gone last week, I must have missed what is going on with you, but here's hoping it gets better.

For those of you I have not met in real life yet, I posted a pic on the show your face thread.

My daughter is a new 6 y/o, so I bet Megan and your daughter would get along great!! I'm always trying to find new friends for her because the little girl down the street is pretty snotty and hurts Megan's feelings a lot.

WDW will wipe you out won't it, but it's so worth it!!

It's the drugs. No, seriously, I take these meds for migraines, and I'm having trouble sleeping. I think it's also stress. Gee, I wonder where that's coming from?

Today I am studying all day since I didn't study yesterday. I rented Katie a bunch of movies to keep her occupied while I study. I feel bad putting her in front of the tv most of the morning and afternoon, but it's not something I do often at all I just have to get this test over with and then life will get back to normal

I'm sure EVERYONE has one of those days Sandy, don't worry and it's a big treat for the little one i'm sure so in the end everyone is happy!!

i could handle Yorktown or Oak Brook!!!!! both only about an hour from me!! and i can combine it into a visit to my mommy since she works at the MCds headquarters right there!!

SamIAm Lauren loves her freckles!!! And if you didn't notice on her forehead, she has what's called stork bites. Red marks caused from the pressure of giving birth. They used to be really red when she was a baby, but they have faded over the years. She calls those, and the freckles, kisses from God. She has the stork bites on her back as well. And when she was a baby they were around her mouth and nose and eyes.
Hunter was born with just a few and very light. And he's starting to get freckles.

paintnolishYou are right, us N.L area people should get together with the kids in tow. I'm sure they would all get along great as they are all close in age. But maybe not the N.L McD's!!!!
Hand sanitizer is NOT enough for that place!!!!
