I have to stay away from those MNSSHP threads! They are driving me  !! Whatever happens, happens!!

Well, it's snack time for my hobitts, Frodo and Samwise, to have second breakfast!!! :rotfl:

Bunchkin- I am so ready for the kids to start school. They are driving me nuts! Bella loves to annoy anyone, but her favorite target is her brother. When she calls his name in that sing songy voice, I just know it is going to end badly. We were in Kohls yesterday, and I finally told her,"No. No more talking. I don't want to hear anything!" You know how they say things about certain dogs, like the border collie, like they are really smart, but if they don't have something to do, they get in trouble? She is like that! Oh, how I wish they had all day K here!
As if that is not enough to throughly irritate me-GSU is going to make me go postal! I have left messages with 4 people who were supposed to help me. No one has called me back! So I thought I'd just register for the 3 classes I know I need. Registration is blocked! So I called, got transfered and guess what? I got to leave another message! I am starting to think no one actually attends this school. I don't see how they could! :furious:
Okay. Rant over.

I'm starting to put things up for Katie's party on Sunday, and she is squeeling with delight - to cute!!!! :cloud9:

I am thinking of getting an Lancer or an xB. My only qualifications are that it be cheap and new!
And good on gas - can't forget that ;) Those choices sound great!!! :thumbsup2

slo I sure do hope that your yard didn't get destroyed too much!! I wonder what caused the pool to burst?? Hopefully not faul play!
Good thing no one was in it!!
I don't have any "damage" just rocks in the grass (picking them up will be a good job for Stephanie to do for some Disney dollars ;) ) The pool was old, but I'm not sure of the exact cause :confused3 It really is good no one was in it. The force of the water coming out moved there very large Rubbermaid storage container about 6 ft into the yard :scared1: Stephanie swims there sometimes with her friend (my neighbors niece) and if they would have been in there, it would have been a very scary thing.
***I'm glad your foot is feeling a little better today. I'll send some more PD your way!!! :wizard:

Well, I'm off to do more work around the house. The house was really neglected while I was studying. To anyone that came over it would look fine, but to me, I can see every speck of dust and crumb on the floor - very annoying!!!! Later gaters!!!!

Slo- Yes, good gas mileage is a must, esp these days!
disneymama-Hello! I have a good friend who lives in Morris!
Bunchkin- Congrats on the weight loss! Good for you! :thumbsup2

Slo- Was their pool old? When we were younger, we'd always make a whirlpool (you know, going round and round, getting all the water to swirl in one direction) or a wave pool. My dad always said we'd weaken the walls and the pool would burst. It never did, though!

Paint We had a no talking time out in the van for the past 2 days!! It never lasted very long though!! I even put on nice, quiet classical music.......until DS recognized a song that is played on Little Einsteins!!! Then it was up for grabs!! He was playing air-violin!!! :teeth:

Hey all
Taking a much needed reprieve here at work before the business picks up again. The last couple days have been just insane.
Two more people have said they can come to WICKED, Saturday November 4th at 2pm:
Sk8Leigh: 1
Kim Raye: 2

This brings the grand total to 14. Keep them coming!

I was planning on a lunch thing beforehand as well. Let me know if you have any ideas/suggestions of where to go!

Bunchkin: congrats on the weight loss! Thats awesome. Sorry your kids are driving you Bonkers (this goes to Paint too) School will start soon!

Michelle thanks for letting Sandy know the Wicked details! I've not ben around as much as I've wanted to. This will change soon. Hope you got a good nights sleep even with your DH's snoring! My dad snores like no other. You can hear him through closed doors one room over! Glad I didn't inherit that one

Sandy sorry you had to deal with the pool explosion at 2:30am! Yipes! I hope nothing got ruined.

Hello to all Chicago. I'm sure theres more I wanted to say, but I can't think of it anymore. Have a good afternoon!

:( Mindy the weekend off I got was the week before of Nov 4th .... How I wish I could make it... I missed Wicked in NY & Philadelphia and really want to see it :sad2:

So, I just got done calling the Police. ::cop:

This goofy guy shows up at my door with no identification on either himself or his Grey Chevy Tahoe, with another male driver at the wheel. He tells me he wants to give me some free candles. I told him no thanks - there was no way I was going to open my door. He then starts telling me about some type of vaccuums they are trying to solicit. I again told him no thank you and closed the door. He got in his van and went to my neighbors. So I called the non-emergency number to let them know what is going on, because it seemed awfully shadey to me. Plus, little do they know, there are 2 FD Wives that live next door to each other - we never have any fear to call the cops when there is something shadey going on :sad2:

Bunchkin - I missed the post about your weight loss  . How much did you lose? However much it was, that's awesome!!!! :cheer2:

Hi, all...

Sandy...how scary! I would have done the same exact thing...

FlyingBelle...I am so sorry to read about your loss. :grouphug: On a more positive note, I am sure you will have a great time at Disney...and how was the family reunion in Door County? I have been there twice now, and didn't really like it much the first time, but loved it the second time, and would now go back in a heartbeat.

Kim...how was Great America? I hope it wasn't too crowded.

Nicole...way to go on the weight loss! Hope you continue to feel a bit better each day...

Paint...I have no clue what either of those cars look like! <well, other than Bunchkin says one is a "bread-box"!>

Antss...hope today is a better one for you.

Hersey...I can see getting up early with a doggie...cuz...yep...I *have* gotten up early with a doggie...like I said, my little Binx HATES thunderstorms and he sleeps in our room, so when it storms and he gets nerved up, I get up and take him into the family room so he doesn't disturb Mark. What can I say, he's my "baby"! <Binx, not Mark :rotfl2: >

Michelle...hope your day was a good one!

All other Chicago-DIS friends, Happy Friday! :cool1:

You know what.. it is a much better day! I took my 2nd MHD off and went to HD to clean out their lime green and orange blast and mickey black swatches... went to the post office and mail the to our fellow Diser in UK .. that was fun!! Now am getting ready to empty the pool :lmao: Well that seems to happen when me and my sister get in the water.. thank God it is not our private pool.. :rotfl2: but the complex's hmmm I think tomorrow I am ready to go back to work... I think.... :scratchin

Good afternoon all.

I tried to scan back but you know if you don't check this thread, oh, every 30 minutes or so :surfweb: :rotfl2: ...you just fall extremely far behind so I haven't got a clue what is going on.

Today we find out who my 4th & 1st graders get as teachers. They will have the class lists posted at 4:00 pm. My mom was telling me we are the last one in the area to start school this year. Apparently everyone else starts next week. I don't know I didn't look. I did see Batavia starts Tuesday (I was checking things out due to the reunion, I think I've decided I will go *gulp*).

Of course, I couldn't get my little guy for a nap until late, so he'll pprobably sleep late & we won't get there for a bit. I want to walk down to the school but I'm afraid we will get rained on. It already rained once but it's still gloomy. I was going to go to Dairy Queen but decided not to as it rains every time we go. LOL! I was at Woodman's yesterday and they had Mickey Mouse ice cream bars so I bought those and told the kids we would have those at home afterward instead of going to Dairy Queen. I figured I would beat the weather this way.

I have decided to go to my 20 year reunion. I'll have to let you know how it all turns out. It's not until the middle of next month. I just keep thinking, if I go and have a boring time, at least I went. If I don't go, I will feel like I missed out. I went to our 5 year and it was OK. I wasn't able to go to our 10 year because, no one planned one, so it ended up being in February of the following year I think when they realized it never got planned and it was the year Aaron was born in January, so I was not exactly up to going. Mostly because I joined a Yahoo group with others from our class, so even though I don't remember most of them (or even 1/2 of the teachers they are talking about :rotfl2: ) it's fun to hear their stories.

::yes::

DonnaW- Those two cars are nothing fabulous, but I am a student and I need a new and inexpensive, yet still relativly safe car, that gets good gas mileage.
Antss- Take time to enjoy your mhd!

Well, I registered for classes. I just registered for the 4 I was positive I needed. Hopefully, by next semester, I will be able to contact someone about what else I need. I'm not holding my breath...
