Calling all Chicago Area DISers, including WI, IN, OH, IA and anyone else who would like to join us for tons of fun!!

It's time to start planning the next Chicago Area DIS Meet!!


Da What: Disney/Pixar 'Cars' Movie Meet & Lunch/late Lunch

Da Where: AMC Yorktown Theatre/Yorktown Shopping Center, 80 Yorktown Shopping Center, Lombard IL 60148
Accesible from I-88 (East-West Tollway) which is very accesible from I-294 & I-355.

Da When: Late June/Early July
You gotta vote to help pick a date!!!

Da Food: Depending on the size of the crowd:
1) We can eat at the food court in Yorktown Mall which is
across the street from the theatre.
2) We can eat at a sit down restaurant in
the Mall. (I've already contacted a few places that can
accomodate us, depending on the # of people.)

Food court of course would allow for more space to socialize and greater food selection.

So let's vote on a date and discuss food options, and I'll make the necessary arrangments!

Yea!!! Saturday the 24th is what I voted for and it is leading

Food court sounds fine, now I just gotta go look up Lombard on mapquest.

So far it will be Stacey and I, I'll let you know for sure later on. I might bring Stacey's friend Ashley, who is going to Disney with us in 2 days

Okay, I think I'm in. I hate planning so far ahead because "life happens", but so far I'm pretty sure I can make it. However, I am hoping this is going to be a later-ish afternoon type thing? If it's very early like 11:00 to noon, I'm not sure I can make it as my daughter has soccer games in the morning on Saturday.

Oh and by late June, I'll have my Disneyland pictures all developed and ready to show!

There would probably be only two of us!

I like White Barn, as well as Yankee. They do not have the varied selection of
scents as Yankee does, but several ones they do have I like. So if forced I could buy candles there just as easily!

CathrynRose Glad to hear you are coming too! Have you visited the Chicago DISers thread on the CB?? Make sure you stop by!!

We would not be able to make it on Sunday June 25 because of Cub Scouts Pack picnic. I voted for Sat. July 1. You can count us in for 4 total, 2 adults,2 children.

June 24th here! it will also be DH b-day on June 27th! We live in rockford but we will be there!

Okay we are 2 adults/2children and since i have babies, you can count us in only for lunch as i don't think you want my kids in your movie too bad i can't wait to see it!!!

I should be able to go, any day should work too. As far as eating, I would prefer someplace that we could all sit together, like a actuall restaurant. I know that at my mall, there is no way we could all sit together at the food court.
