Sorry Geef but we won't be able to make it after all... hubby is being forced to work the weekend. Hopefully we can make the next one!:thumbsup2

I just sent you a PM, Geef, but for everyone else. . . I cannot make it on Sunday. All semester long, I have thought that my calculus final exam was on Thursday night. I just found out a half hour ago that both of my finals are on Tuesday night - composition at 6, and calculus at 8:15. I am freaking out. Not happy here!!! Anyway, I am so sorry that I will miss this, and all of you. I hope you have an awesome time!!!!

It's just before lunch and you give me restaurants? :lmao: :lmao:
Our vote is for Gino's East. :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2
We have Fuddruckers here at home, and would like to try something new. Chicago style pizza in Chicago, what an idea:idea:.

I love Gino's East pizza much better, but I would go with the flow if the majority want Fuddrucker's.

Either one is good with us... we'll go with the flooo..oooo.ooooo.ooooooooow (sorry, you'd have to be in my head to get the Nemo:The Musical reference).

I get it... But can you do the flips like in "Just keep Swimming":rotfl2:

I just called Gino's. They don't open till 4 on Sunday. Soooooo,
How about Lou Malnati's. (This is original "Chicago" pizza)

It's about a 10 min drive, but well worth it. What do you say?:confused3

If they are open, sure. I defer to your good judgment. :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Looking forward to the meet but I'll have to take a pass on food after. Just got home after being out of town for work all week and there is so much i have to catch up on at home.

Well... Gino's doesn't open till 4pm... Lou Malnati's said they would only give one bill (we would have to split it up). So... I gave up and asked AaronMickey to help me. Jason took the bull by the horns (or pizza by the crust :confused3 ) and here, we, go!

Uno's is right next to Woodfield. They are glad to have us and have reserved a section for us. They said we could order off the regular menue, or... (I'll just quote from Jason's message)

...She told me about the party platter, but also stated that we could all order seporately as well... she just seemed nervous for our poor waitrer/watress
The platter sounds like a good deal, and I'll give you the rough version of it:

13.00 a person (20 people min., but the whole group doesn't need to do it) which entitles you to:
1 large deep dish per four people
1 salad per person
1 order of breadsticks per person
1 vanilla sundae per person
unlimited soft drinks per person

So,
How does that sound?

And thank you to Jason for the legwork! (ear/finger work)

Thanks AaronMickey! We're up for that.

Hehe, no problem; I figured this would be the next best option, especially since it is so close to Doorway to Dreams.
I hope we get a big group going for the lunch as well!

Oh, I have the room reservation for 11am... I figure that is enough time for the meet at Dreams, with a stop to the Disney Store as well :wizard:

I just thought of something. The time of the meet. Is that central or eastern time?

The Uno's party sounds great and they do offer original Chicago style pizza. I was just there last Saturday in fact; the location is excellent, the food's great, and as a Chicago resident, I prefer it overall over Gino's East.

(To anyone out-of-town, we also love Lou Malnati's, but I understand that they cannot bill everyone separately, and their local home-like restaurants are really not conducive to larger parties.)

The two of us still plan to be there! Yay for a first DIS meet!

I have some bad news. We will be not be able to attend. I am sorry for the late notice. Hope everyone has fun.

Is it too late to rescind this?
