Hi. Ok this is the one I want. Going down to Disney in March and want to buy one if the price is right. But where in the states can I buy one. Here in Ontario, Canada, my mother's hair dresser probably can get me one for around $150.00. But said to try on my holliday first. Whats the best price you have saw?

If you have a Sally's they sell a generic chi. My hairdresser said it's every bit as good and quite a bit cheaper. My daughter had a chi and it didn't last very long. Her new generic is working much better.

I never heard of this! Is it strong and damaging to your hair? Thanks!

Try amazon.com.

I bought my dd one and paid $150.00 at Ulta Beauty, but, when I looked after the fact, on amazon.com I saw them cheaper.

120.00 for the 2 in.
75.00 for the 1 in.

If you don't buy from a authorized dealer the warranty will be null and void. Amazon is not an authorized dealer of Chi's, so buyer beware. I bought DD's at an Ulta store for about $119.00 and if anything happens to it, I know I can return it.

I got mine for about $100 at a hair supply store. I could have saved a few more $$ by buying it online, but I was impatient.

For the PP that asked, it is a ceramic flat iron. Ceramic is far better for your hair than any other type out there. It uses a moist heat instead of a dry one to style the hair.

Hi again. I just looked over the Target site. They sell them too for around $116.00. Now are they any good & and has anyone bought one from Target?

I got mine brand new off Ebay for about $85 shipped. I've had it over a year and it's still going strong.

I have! I bought one one sale at target for a little less than $100. It is smaller (1") and has no control dial for how hot you want it but it is a good flat iron. I cannot buy them much cheaper than at the beauty supply place unless they are on sale or I have a coupon. CHI's are in high demand and sell out quickly there. Sally's does not carry CHI. I also have a Babyliss on that has done really well. However, all of the worker's at the supply store say CHI irons last longer and they fewer complaints about them then any other iron.

Good luck!!

I bought mine at a Prime Outlet store (Trade Secret?). It was $99, and I got some awesome products free with it....Chi's "oil" for protectant/healing split ends, their pre-ironing spray (LOVE), and a shampoo and conditioner that is good (but I don't use b/c I also color and hi-lite my hair every 4 weeks).

And, no, my Chi doesn't damage my processed hair :)
