Cheyenne refurb

Hi , are they refurbing blobk by block.
Has anyone stayed here during the refurb ?? Has it affected your stay?
Were doing a budget trip end of March and trying to decide between Cheyenne refurb room or Santa fe .

We were in the Annie Oakley building about a month ago. Our room was one that already had been done. We really liked it. We were only there 3 nights (over a weekend), we saw no evidence of workers or construction.

We came back a fortnight ago, we stayed in the block called Wild Bill Hickock, ours hadn't been refurbished, which is what I booked. There was no visible or audible disturbances and we were there Mon to Fri.

Thank you both. We stayed in the Annie Oakley block years ago its a good location. Only going for 3 days so won't be spending too much time in the hotel.

If I remember rightly, they are refurbing block by block so guests aren't affected by the building works as no one is staying in the affected block. This is what they did with the Santa Fe too

Does anyone know how far along they are on the refurb (how many blocks have been done?) and when do they expect all the rooms to be done? Thanks.

We stayed in Doc Holiday last week and that block has been refurbished.

The refurbishment is scheduled to be completed by 2018 and so far around 5 blocks have been refurbished.

I noticed that Calamity Jane, Geronimo, Soaring Eagle and Butch Cassidy had construction fences around them.
