Chevy Equinox cargo space?

National's rates seem to be the best for this vehicle during my dates. I am not familiar with the size of the cargo area. We will be 4 adult women on this trip. We could put some luggage in one passenger area of the back seat, but how much room is there in the cargo area? A minivan costs about $64 more for my dates (Oct. 15 - 22), no matter how many different coupon/ID/product codes I have tried. TIA for any help.

I didn't see this post and I posted the same question. I'm bumping to your thread. We are 2 adults and 2 kids. With 4 suitcases and a stroller.

Did you see that Alamo's site only shows this vehicle as handling 2 small bags? I think that is odd for an SUV.
