Does anyone have a Chevy Beretta that leaks anti-freeze?

I have a 1996 Beretta that has leaked anti freeze almost since I got it. I didn't know it was leaking at first, as it leaks minutely. But the smell of anti freeze in the car, when the heat is off, but you put the temperature knob to warm is obvious. I brought it in and they found nothing wrong. My brother also had the same year Beretta as me and he had the same problem.

Anyone else have this problem? Or hear of it with Berettas?

Thanks

I am long past the warranty, but curious if what it is. It does not affect the wear on the car and I have never had any problem with the car. It is now 7 years old and has 51,000 miles and that is the only problem.

cant help you with your problem...but had to say something.....my first car was a 1988 beretta GT....i actually bought it in the fall of 1987...........miss that car so much!!!!!!!!!! traded it in for a mini van in 96.......I just had a second kid at that time......i miss my car!!!!!!!!!!!!

I also LOVE my Beretta. We just bought a 2003 Honda Accord, and my DH is baffled why I don't drive the Honda much and drive the Beretta mostly.

I owned 2 Beretta's, my first was a 87 and the second an 89, I never had any problems with them.

But my first car was a 78 Malibu Classic and it use to do exactly what you described, maybe it's a common problem as cars get older?

Hope you figure it out!
