Does anyone know if the Chesapeake Bay Bridge a Tunnel that connects VA to Chincoteague Island accepts EZ-Pass? We're heading to VA Beach to Chincoteague to Ocean City, MD in July with a couple of nights in each and trying to determine whether we need to locate our EZ Pass or not.

Yes, they do. Also, there is a discount toll program for EZ-Pass users for the Bay Bridge / Tunnel.

Thanks! I had looked on our MD EZ Pass list and it wasn't listed on there. Do you only pay one way- VA to MD? We've always just gone to OC, MD so there will be a new venture going to VA Beach and Chincoteague too.

You pay both ways. I paid $13 each way in April.

You pay both ways. If you return in a 24 hour period, you get a discount on the return toll

Yes to EZ Pass. Yes to paying both ways, but the tolls from MD to VA are cheaper as of 7/1, I believe. If you Google the story, you can read the press release where the Governor reduced the tolls for the first time in years. Other tolls have also been reduced. Have fun! Gorgeous views!

if you can not locate your pass they still accept cash. There is a slight discount if you return within a 24 hr period. FYI there is a restaurant you can stop on the bridge a sight see
