Jordan: "stop it! You are not."
Marcus: he jumped. "P-please don't shout."
Jordan: "stop it! You are not."
Marcus: he jumped. "P-please don't shout."
Jordan: he rubbed his neck "sorry. I didn't mean to."
Marcus: "I've heard it enough. I have to believe it, Jordan."
Jordan: "no, you don't. You are not worthless or stupid" he was speaking quietly now.
Marcus: "I have no home, and I haven't gotten an education past fifth grade." He lowered his head, his shaggy brown hair hiding his tear-filled eyes.
Jordan: "please stop. I'm really sorry."
Marcus: "You did nothing wrong."
Jordan: "I somehow brought it up. What happened to talking about sports" he forced a small smile.
Marcus: "You didn't know what to t-talk a-abou-about." Tears started running down his face.
Jordan: he wrapped his arms around him "I'm sorry." Caroline: she stood up and went into her room not wanting to intrude.
Marcus: he shook his head. "I-I keep bringing things up! I'm sorry!"
Dawn: she sighed and went back to bed.
Jordan: "it's okay. Here, I'll talk about sports. Umm, I play soccer and basketball, I'm on the swim team and I run track, and I play tennis in the off season. But I plan on dropping all of them after this year besides soccer and maybe basketball. Uhh.." he couldn't think of anything else to say.
Marcus: "D-don't drop them." he said quietly, still crying in Jordan's arms.
Jordan: "I have to. I know I can't play all of them and go to college. My mom supports my dream of playing at a professional level but I have to have a plan B" he still hugged him.
Marcus: "Oh." He paused. "Should I go back to school? Or get a tutor or something?"
Jordan: "I can't make that decision for you, but going back to school now would probably be really hard. Maybe a tutor or something though."
Marcus: "You think anyone would do that for me? Help me learn, I mean."
Jordan: "yeah, I do" he stopped hugging him. OOC: wow, that's perfect.
