Hi All - I'm really on the fence about this. My family (wife, 3 kids) will be traveling to Disney later this year. We're also bringing my parents with us. My folks are world travelers and are used to eating in fine restaruants all the time. Since they are being good natured enough to do all the "kid friendly" restaruants the rest of the time we thought we'd take one night out (leaving the kids at the resort kids club) and the four of us adults spend an evening at Victoria and Albert's.

I know the chef's table can be hard to get but if I can get it is it worth the $120 a person ($170 with wine parings)? None of us have ever done anything like a "Chef's" table before and I'm thinking it might be a great experience. But at over $600 for the 4 of us I'd just like a bit of feed back that it is really worth it. Thanks.

I dined at the Chef's Table this past November and can tell you it is worth every penny. The food, service, wine, and intimacy of the setting made it the best dining experience of my life. My FIL who has eaten at every five star restaurant in NYC for the past twenty years was floored. To me a good meal is an art form, and Chef Hunnel was a master at it. He described each course as it was presented and conversed easily with all of us. Our servers (Victoria and Albert of course) were exceptional. It sounds like your parents would really enjoy this. Just make sure they save plenty of room for the desserts!::yes::

Hubby and I love the chefs table...if you can get it...I would definately give it a try!

If you only have 2 people dining at the Chefs Table do they fill up the rest of the table with people not from your party or is it only the 2 of you? Trying so hard to deciede between the chefs table and the dining room.

It will be just the two of you. We celebrated our 23rd anniversary at the Chefs Table a couple of years ago.

The main dining room is a wonderful experience, too.
