We are going the end of Oct with my ds who is 7. My question how is the food and is Remy still there, what is the last time of day remy comes out.

Loved lunch, didnt like dinner at all

Loved it and go every trip
Remy is not there at all on Sunday.Located Inside Les Chefs de France.
Monday-Saturday at 12:30, 1:40, 2:50 & 5:20pm
It is NOT a traditional character meal.Remy comes around starting at the times listed does a little show and moves on.If you are seated late, in the bathroom etc and you miss him, you miss him.He does not come araound again. Also be aware that b/c he does have techincal difficulties from time to time and sometimes does not appear at all, and with no notice.Best to not get your childs hopes up in case

Remy is cute, they bring him around to each table and stays for a bit, long enough to take pictures. He doesn't come out on Sunday. Normal time is around noon and 5 for dinner.

We went in October for both lunch and dinner. The lunch menu (prix fixe) was pretty heavy on cheese-based foods, so it wasn't our favorites. Dinner was very good. We've opted to go back for dinner on our next trip, but not lunch.

We saw Remy both times, but as PPs have indicated, he does not come back if you aren't seated or at your table when he arrives. If you're thinking of making an ADR, be sure to leave enough time to account for delays in seating (we usually plan about 30 to 40-minutes). It's better to be in the middle of your meal when he comes than to just miss him because the restaurant is running behind.

Allears has the dinner menu from this June, but a much older menu for lunch:

Their lunch is great, not sure about dinner. I love their mac 'n' cheese!

I had a wonderful meal at Chefs de France last week -- the prix fixe menu of onion soup, macaroni, and creme brulee, followed by four French waiters singing Happy Birthday to me in French while presenting ice cream with fruit topped with a lighted candle. (I carried the baguette back to the room with me where DH promptly ate it all.) I had a great table with a view of the lagoon and Belle signing autographs. Then Remy came to my table. My waiter told me Remy was the executive chef there now.

Is a 5:10 resv. pushing it to see Remy (5:20?) I can't seem to get earlier than that so hoping the kids can still see him. Not going to tell them about it, just in case.

We have eaten there 3 times and love the food. We haven't had a chance to see Remy but it is still worth the trip.

Better yet, go upstairs to Bistro de Paris...Outstanding!

not appropriate for a 7 year old

last year my wife was pregnant and didn't want the striped bass or the veal that were the main course options that night and inquired about a vegetarian option...

..the server looked at her like she had just landed from Neptune for about 30 seconds until she ordered the fish (it was good).

i'm sure they have a "kids menu"...but there has to be a line somewhere

Why the menu on wdwinfo and allears are so different? allears menus look like from last year. we dined there last October, exactly same. WDWinfo has flouder for kids dinner.

which version is correct?

That is cutting it too close. You might see him if you're seated in the section of the restaurant at the end of his round...but if seating is running late and your table is among the first to be visited you will not see him. As others have said, once he passes your table he will not come back. One time he was visiting our table when a party was being seated at an adjacent table. By the time they were seated Remy had moved on and he did not come back to them even though he was not too far away.

I would keep checking online for an earlier reservation, ideally no later than 4:45.

Too close..We had as 510p and didn't get seated till 540p:scared1: ..We missed him completely. If free dining is going on and during the Candlelight processional timeframe, adrs can and do run behind.

He is a character from the Disney movie Ratatouille !!!
