A few questions...

What food is not to be missed here? None of us our seafood lovers and I don't like mushrooms, FYI. We're on the DxDDP, so please tell us good appetizers too and of course desserts! :lovestruc

We're celebrating our 15th anniversary here and they know that. Have they been known to do anything special here for anniversaries? (I know nothing is guaranteed.)

Thanks,
OCD Diner :)

For apps, our favorite was the french onion soup- LOVED it (also had the salad--was OK, and the lobster bisque -was also OK) ...and for entree, the best was probably the macaroni & cheese (it's NOT the blue box stuff, believe me:thumbsup2) Also liked the beef tips/noodles, and the salmon was OK.

For dessert, the creme brulee is good; have tried the apple dessert, that was OK, but our all-star-stand-out favorite at Les Chefs is the profitaroles...oh, yummo!

For appetizers I love the Lobster Bisque. The flat breads are also good but they are large enough to share. My favourite entree is the salmon with ratatouille, but since you don't like fish I'll let you pick for yourself. All the desserts are fabulous but my favourite is the Creme Brule.

Another vote for Creme Brulee. We always get the steak, it's alway awesome!! We tried the cheese plate this year and it was super yummy!

French onion soup:thumbsup2 we had the short ribs for lunch and they were amazing!!!

We had dinner there and had the beef filets. They were excellent, came with gratin potatoes.

We were just there in Feb. I had the roasted chicken-it was good, but I really wanted the mac & cheese (my husband guilted me out of it - seemed too simple to him...but it's made with guryere cheese!! - ahhh, next time!)

You must have the creme brule for dessert -- I am still dreaming about it!

French onion Soup
Macaroni and Cheese
Cinnamon Apple crepes

Pretty much a perfect meal! Oh, and the bread they bring out at the beginning is FABULOUS!

The bacon, creme fraiche & onion flatbread is heavenly
If you're a fan of pate-try the assorted plate
The cheese plate is always great- large portions enough to share

I love the duck and the filet

Profiteroles au chocolate or the creme brulee is wonderful

We have only eaten here once, but the french onion soup was fantastic, and we really enjoyed the creme brulee. I had the salmon with ratatouille for my entree and I was kind of disappointed.

The onion soup is absolutely wonderful, but do not call it French onion soup. You are in France, after all. The macaroni was a little sweet for my taste and the portion was coma-inducing huge. I will be trying something else the next time I go. Creme brulee was by far my favorite dessert. It exceeded the quality of some of the finer restaurants in NYC that I have tried. Bon voyage!
