OK, I know there are always mixed reviews but we have a reservation for December. I am hoping for more positive reviews than negative since I am still on the fence about this one.

Thanks in advance

P.S. I know how many negative reviews Le Cellier has gotten and that was our favorite restaurant until they got rid of the Maple BBQ filet (my favorite)

We've had lunch at Chefs de France twice now. I love their lobster bisque.

I am hoping that some who have had positive experiences post here..

The key to a good restaurant is consistent good reviews..when the good is mixed with the bad, which is what happens with this restaurant, it can mean many things..management issues or inexperienced chefs.. JMO

You know, I felt the same way before DBFF and I tried Chefs De France last fall....but we LOVED it! The food was great, as was the service and the restaurant is beautiful! Plus our waiters were hunky! ;) We can't wait until we go back in December! I would definately give it a try, and hey, if you don't enjoy it, you know not to go back! :)

I like Chefs. I think the appetizers aren't that wonderful but the entrees are very good. And the desserts are magnificent!!

I usually get the tenderloin of beef and it is very well prepared, never had any complaints. If you're a little hesitant on chefs, you can always go upstairs to the bistro where you are 100% guaranteed to have a great meal.

I've ate there twice and enjoyed it both times. The food and service have both been good, although last time we ate there we were in the middle of free dining and service was a little rushed. The only dish neither of us enjoyed was the macroni and cheese, it was just bland.

Overall we're returning for our third visit on our next trip and looking forward to it.

I've always enjoyed the food, atmosphere and service at Chefs. It has gotten louder and more crowded than many moons ago (but what place hasn't?). However, the food and service has remained consistently good. Not to mention a nice wine list. I'd definitely recommend it.

We enjoy it there a lot! I love the atomosphere and food. We usually order a nice glass of champagne and relax. The escargot is so good, and my favorite entree, or should I say the best one that I have tried there is the beef tenderloin dish. We have mostly had great service as well. I would definitely recommend that you try it for yourself.

Our family of 4 have gone twice and each time it was great. We really enjoyed the lobster bisque. Entrees was also very good. Each of us got something different and dessert was great. Our server was also helpful and knew when to help and when to leave us alone. It was a nice change of pace to do EPCOT all day and enjoy a nice sit down dinner before Illum.N.

We have an ADR for July! :rotfl: But, are a little nevous after reading some reviews!:confused3 Any reccomendations for really good deserts??:rotfl2:

It was my favourite restaurant when we went last March. We went to Le Cellier, Cali Grill, Coral Reef, and Chefs de France, 1900 Park Fare, Boatwrights.

Chefs de France was the best one. Their filet mignon was excellent and so were the scalloped potatoes. We had profiteroles for dessert and they were great as well.

I was really looking forward to Le Cellier, and was frankly disapointed (they had taken out the maple filet mignon the week before we went). Being from Canada, we were expecting a lot, and honestly, we have way better steak houses than that. Oh well.

I would definitely try Chefs de France, we really loved it and will definitely go back.

We ate there in early April and loved it! It was a change of mind that led us there, we cancelled Y&Y and called conceirge and they had 5:30 open at Chefs so we grabbed it. SOOOOOO good! I have a ton of pics and full review in my signature

We ate there last Septmeber and LOVED it. :thumbsup2 In fact, I had a hard time NOT booking there again this year, but I wanted to try different places.

I love this thread! I haven't seen a negative review yet! We will be trying it for the first time when we go for Thanksgiving week. I can't wait to try it!

We are going there in one week and I plan to have my two favorite appies-escargot and onion soup-and maybe a dessert to top it off......

My wife and I tried there our last trip. We always get at least one night out alone and like to try new places( our favorite is California Grill). We were pleasantly surprised. I had read a lot of negative reviews but we found the food and service were both very good. We will definately be returning in the future.

We ate at Chefs for the first time last year and we enjoyed it so much we have included it again for our trip this August.

Most restaurants will get both positive and negative reviews. People have different likes and dislikes. I would say, try it for yourself, especially if you like a good dessert. As for appetizers, we all loved what we had.
