Chefs de France or Restaurant Marrakesh - Which to choose for just me and my husband? I know they are 2 completely different cuisines and we are open to trying either, just wondering if one restaurant is better than the other? Hit me with the opinions, oh wise ones!

I feel as though these two restaurants seem to be received equally among the boards, so this would really boil down to personal preference. If you think you'd enjoy a dinner with lots of rich cheese and a fine wine, Chefs de France is great. If you think you'd have a lot of fun watching the dancers and eating couscous, Restaurant Marrakesh is a good choice as well. Personally, I love Chefs de France.

I really liked Restaurant Marrakesh. The food was good and I liked the decor. The waitstaff were incredibly friendly and I liked watching little kids get belly dancing lessons! So funny! The only downside was that the room is kind of barn-like, very large and open.

I have heard great reviews on both. We have been to Chefs de France twice and we liked it so much that we have a reservation there for our next trip in January 2019. We have tried lots of Disney restaurants and many of them we have not felt like they were worth they cost so we did not go back. This will be our third trip to Chefs de France if that tells you anything on how we feel about it. YUM! I would personally read the menus for both, look at photos online (Google Images) and decide from there.

We've always enjoyed Restaurant Marrakesh. This year we went back for two reasons; one I could eat healthy and watch my carb intake. Second was that our boys told us that going to Restaurant Marrakesh in the past was a highlight of the trip for them, shocked both my wife and I but we enjoyed it too, just didn't realize they both had as well. My oldest was able to pinpoint and tell me going there is what opened his mind about more ethnic foods.

Both are good. Marrakesh is quieter, except when the belly dancer is out. Its fun when they bring the kids up to teach them. In general there are more kids at Chef de France and the tables seem more crowded together.
The food obviously is different, but equally well done in both places.
I prefer the atmosphere of Marrakesh to Chef de France.

Chef de France would be our preference. We prefer the cuisine more and have a history of memories dining at Chef de France for lunch and dinner.

We've eaten at Restaurant Marrakesh twice and Chefs de France five times.

We like them both, but given the choice, I would definitely pick Chefs de France. We love it there! We especially like the escargot and beef short ribs, not to mention the crème brûlée for dessert. They also have very nice French wines. Best of all is the atmosphere, which is reminiscent of a classic Parisian sidewalk café.

Restaurant Marrakesh was good, too. They have good couscous dishes, kebobs, and baklava. They also have belly dancers. :thumbsup2 Granted, we haven't eaten at Restaurant Marrakesh recently... Our most recent visit there was back in 2007. :o

Chefs is one of our favourites. On our most recent trip we decided to try new things but at the last minute I couldn't stand to miss it and switched Via Napoli to Chefs. The Gratin de Macaroni is one of my favourite meals at WDW.

I’ve been to Chefs a few times and haven’t been too impressed. It was fine, just nothing I’m rushing back to in light of all the other great places nearby. We went to Marrakesh once and really enjoyed. Between the two, I definitely say Marrakesh. Although, if you’re looking for that type of food, have you considered Spice Road? It has become a must-do for us on recent trips. I’ll temper that by saying that type of food is my favorite, inside and outside of Disney though. Marrakesh is good, but I like SRT better.

We haven’t eaten at any restaurants in EP barring a quick serve in China. I will have to check out the Spice Road Table menu. Thanks!

Chef de France is our favorite in Epcot. We have two reservations for our up coming trip. I think it is a good use of a dining credit. French onion soup is to die for. We ate at Marrakesh twice and it was ok. I remember it being rather loud.
